I get the conversation tonight has gone down that path, that's why I said it's potentially a different debate altogether, which you've not included in those quoted words. You've took a snipet to suit your argument and ignored other parts.

Players aid toxic atmosphere in football stadiums. That does NOT excuse racist reactions as a part of that atmosphere.

Toxic atmospheres are caused by fans who can’t control themselves and overreact. Any fan with self control won’t create a toxic atmosphere that could have serious consequences just because a player is holding the ball for longer than they’d like.

Myself, and plenty in 131, would disagree.

The modern footballer boils my blood and when they start fucking about rolling around and time wasting I let them know about it. There are choice words. Flicks of the vs. I make no apology for that.

He’s right, I never once found myself disagreeing with anything he said. I think some of the people calling him thick need more weight to their argument. Ad hominem attacks normally backfire.

Nope. It's political/ideological thing. It could have been said by anyone, people going into "wars" against it, would do the same. There is a thread about some musician (I don't have idea who he is) in off topic who said the same day or two ago and there is pretty much same group of people shitting on him.

They don't do that because it's Neville, they do it to try to hide the facts that racism is on big rise everywhere, in huge percentage of cases because of politics they support, despite it hitting us in the eyes all the time.

They don't like to hear that emperor is naked.

Essentially, a biased one-eyed football supporter or TV 'pundit' and a racist are displaying the same vice. The difference between them is only their target. Nobody would get away with describing racist comments as 'banter'. But it's OK to contort your face into a mask of hatred and flick Vs or make wanker signs at complete strangers who happen to be playing football in the wrong colour shirt. One's illegal, the other might not be.

If the issue of racism can be shepherded into the football stadium, then it's a job done.

No! What people are getting pissed off with is being called racist for just breathing, Neville generalised because of his political persuasion, he's upset maybe slightly bitter. As soon as a discussion is to be had just like the trans discussion then opinions are shut down by the liberals who want a free run to exersize their agenda, whatever that may be.

We haven't got an epidemic of racism we've got an epidemic of Tory hating luvvies who are sore about the election. Racists get banned and charged by the police if needed, neville has said that more needs to happen to them? like what? Whilst the world and his Dog celebrates Stormzy the violent homophobic racist, I and my fellow fas get lumbered with the tag casual racist by a media millionaire and millionaires like him.

Bojo isn't a racist and I am not worried the epidemic of racists are coming to get me.
