Don't think 5 at the back worked; combined with individual errors, taking KDB off and not keeping the ball cost us.

Find a way to play our best defensive midfielder in his best position and get a better back up keeper. Whole defensive unit will be better and trust each other
 
No idea why so many are solely blaming Mendy. You can’t blame any one person for that. Major fuck up with the sending off with walker otamendi And Ederson all culpable which was the biggest factor tonight. Then Sterling fucked up for their first, mendy fucked up for their second and otamendi fucked up again for their third. As well as piss poor subs and tactics from Pep which can’t go unmentioned. Picking out one player to blame amongst all those errors is bizarre.

Only kdb who was a constant threat, Bernardo who was tireless and the only one capable of keeping hold of the ball and Fernandinho get a pass tonight.

For me i’d Get rid of otamendi the second the clock strikes 12 on NYE to free up a space for his replacement either. Give Eric Garcia half a season to bed in. we have absolutely no reason not to plan for the future and try and take the smallest positives you can find from this awful title defence. Same with Foden
 
We were always going to find it hard going down to ten so early and Bravo does not fill you with confidence.

However the way we coughed up the ball constantly and strolled about was a recipe for disaster. Two basic mistakes by Sterling and Mendy gifted them two of their goals. Wolves were not that great but took their chances.

There is more of this to come this season as we simply can not defend.

we have been successful with a group of players bought by past managers. Kompany, Silva, Aguero, Dinho. Edison apart I don’t see any stand out signings

He won’t change but this league is about constant change that’s why we have been caught
 
Looking at it a different way is this some fucking weird game Pep is playing to deliberately prove to Khaldoon he doesn’t want these players and wants new ones. Basically setup the team so we are pushed to breaking point just to get it across.

Conceded 5 to wolves and lost both times, ffs, about time mendy showed us what he’s all about, coz right now I wouldn’t invite him to a bbq,
 
Hard to assess to tonight. And by that, I mean I have mixed emotions.

The effort of the 10 men plus subs, should in the main be commended.

However, we desperately need bodies ASAP. We're shocking between the sticks, CD, and only having two true strikers is killing us.

I'm hoi g to sleep on this. Whether I get any is another matter

That’s not mentioning his idiotic CL selections in the latter rounds which always seem to bite him on the arse.

We can blame Sterling and Mendy for gifting Wolves the chance to get back into the game but Pep was by far the bigger culprit.

Taking De Bruyne off at that stage of the game was the worst substitution I’ve seen in a long time.

The only fucking player who can turn attack to defence in the blink of an eye taken off, the only fucking leader we have on that pitch taken off.

In fact, it was a toss up between Traore and Pep for the Wolves MOTM
