Title race is over but also there are question marks on whether we can secure top floor place.

If his inclusion in the starting lineup means dropping out of the the top four then he has absolutely not business being at the club.

I get not wanting to throw him in at the deep end but we did that last season during the title race. What we face now is the equivalent of a paddling pool.

As supporters we don't give a shit about the Champions League (for obvious reasons) but for the people in charge it's equally important and if there was clear daylight between us and the rest then he might get more opportunities. For some reason Pep only seems to trust him for cup games and dead rubber Champions League since his sending off.

Tricky one with Phil. Title race is over but also there are question marks on whether we can secure top floor place. Injuries, suspensions and inconsistent form which is partially down to mental/physical fatigue are major factors in the current state at City. For some reason Pep doesn't seem to fully trust him.

So if Phil plays we might not finish in the top four is what your suggesting??

That’s just bizarre and if he’s not good enough for a top four chasing team then we may as well give up with him.

There’s natural caution with young players, but your viewpoint is extreme caution. Ie we can’t risk him when we go for the league/ we can’t risk him for a top four place....

What’s the point of him being here and why are you so scared of a brilliant young player in the side. Every excuse under the sun not to play him

Ask Pep on why Foden isn't getting more game time not me. He is the one who has been given targets on team affairs. I'm trying to second guess why he hasn't been given more of an opportunity. The sending off in the Atalanta could of been the start off it.

Would be surprised if Foden doesnt start today , we need his energy and freshness against the aggression of the Blades , would even consider Dinho reverting to midfield and Garcia alongside Otto , need to tighten up the middle of the park far to many teams have been by-passing our midfield this season.
