Wolves - post match

They lost Allison for a short spell. None of their injuries are comparable to ours - Zinchenko, Sane, and Laporte under the surgeon's knife - as was Mendy (albeit quite a while ago, but he still hasn't recovered), Sergio out for the last month - a similar length of time out as Fabinho is likely to be. Alex O C was out long term, but has yet to establish himself despite his obvious talent. So yes, they're an exceptional side, but their top performers - VvD, Salah, Mane, Firmino, TAA, Robertson, don't get injured for anything like the same length of time as our equivalents.
Injuries are part of the game, as are good and bad decisions. At the end of the season the table doesn’t lie.

He’s naturally apprehensive in the tackle after the injuries he’s had, however, spineless?? Have a day off ffs, your understanding of the game sometimes know no bounds!

Cause we have a difference of opinion or I ay something you (and others disagree with) my understanding of the game is less than yours or others.....yeah ok......think its the posters who cannt take a differnce of opinion that need a break. He constantly goes in half hearted and even prior to the injuries was poor defensively.

It appears to me that its posters like you and others that know very little about football

Or maybe after going 97 points plus over 2 seasons they will suffer from a inevitable drop off like we have ?
You want us to bet on that or do you want us to pick up the glove and slap the buggers in the face? They aren’t the only team. We are also fighting Chelsea, Spurs, Salford Utd and even Leicester. Like sharks we have to keep moving forward to survive. This season we tried coasting and have bern deservedly found out.

I totally agree - 19 games in, the table doesn't lie - as I never tire of telling the reds I know. While injuries are part of the game, our serious injuries are nothing less than freakish. To have four players under the surgeon's knife in the last two years - three this season - is just plain weird.

You need to go back and rewatch that incident again. Half pulled ? I was genuinely concerned about his wellbeing and the wolves player . It was head injury FYI and mendy was the one who smashed the harder . Stop this scapegoat bullshit.

It got nothing to do with scapegoating....he is poor but he is not the only one (Gundogan and Mahrez are two others and eventhough he didnt play last night, Angelino)...if i(and others) were just focusing on him then your accusation would be correct- but there are others being called out as well. He is a poor fullback and we need better.

True. But not signing Kompany replacement this season but thinking a 34 year old Fernandino can be turned into a CB, not replacing clearly declining Otty and Bravo, not signing Mahrez and keeping Sancho, not paying the market price for VVD either when he left Celtic or Southampton - these were decisions that led to today. But this is football. What matters now is how we respond. Totally agree. Progress doesn’t come from making excuses.

Just suggesting an alternative possibility to your predictions of doom no need to go all David Brent on me :)

People on here blaming Mendy et al..let me remind you we played 80 plus minutes with 10 men because the GK who makes 1 save every 5 games fecked up again. Yep, Mr “great with his feet” but unfortunately crap at most other GK duties lost us that match end of.
Behave, eddie has saved us many times,v rags without him they would have battered us

Let’s be real. There’s a real clear out needed. We are looking at a three year climb back to even challenging for the title. Otemendi, Stones, Femandino, Walker, Mendy, Bravo, Spanish Dave, Aguero, Gundy - some not good enough, some ‘thanks for all the fish’.

Our biggest mistake? Not buying VVD from Celtic let alone Southampton. Then not replacing Komps. We need to accept that the answer to every problem isn’t yet another attacking midfielder and sometimes that answer has a market cost we have to bite the bullet and pay.

That is something of an overreaction.

Are you kidding....he half pulled out of it which was the issue.....if that had been walker he would have taken the ball and the man and carried on...Mendy is the epitomy of spineless in a chalenge....... the other guy came worse off as Mendy headed him after the ball

Spineless? Have a word fella.

Is the correct answer. We have lost key players for long periods of time.

I was thinking about it last night, it's like fate has decided that because we have a bigger squad we must be crippled by injuries.

Liverpool have nowhere near the depth we do but have crucially had their main players fit, and for a couple seasons now as well.

It's not even close to being comparable, had they suffered the injury's we have they'd be out of the top 4

Some people on here get over-excited when we're having a bad run - you see similar types at the stadium - lots of finger wagging and moronic tactical advice for David. A huge chunk of fans on here clearly do not grasp the Pep method. You hear these morons 'Why don't we play fastor, he needs to play fastor'.

I think most everyone appreciates his genius and the fundamental principles of his philosophy. But he may need to tweak things though, no? He’s done it when he’s moved teams before; and he’s been here long enough that some adjustments to his current method may be warranted. And I think in many respects, esp when we had Sané on left and sterling on right, we did play faster and more direct...which also then made it easier to possess people to death because we were up quick and early and they’d simply be beaten into submission, or we’d open them up that much more if they chased the game.

I think most of the current issues boil down to the injuries and him not having the ability to have the right people in the right places. Disjointedness and a certain level of incoherence seems inevitable. But it’s why until it’s remedied i think we need to play with more defensive cover.

3 year climb back to challenge for the title?
WHAT? THE? FUCK? YOU? ON? ABOUT?
Are you tripping? We've just won back to back league titles and you're saying we are 3 years away from retaining it?

Mate put the sherry down, you are babbling.

3 YEARS!!! Oh my fucking life.

Two errors and a foul not given from being a fantastic backs to wall performance with a man down.

Maybe the extra defender meant we gave up being an attacking threat (so gave Wolves more) but it's hard to say it was the wrong thing to do. Just hope it's not taken its toll on fitness for today.

My beef with you is you have 357 posts in about 8 years.
Yes I've looked at your profile as I wanted to back my argument up with you.
Not one positive comment about us. It's shit this and shit that, embarrassing this and rubbish that, not one comment when we win and not one positive comment about anything.

You could be a recluse, depressed, fuck knows but what I do know is your comments are shit, your views totally different to the theme of the post and you stick out like a sore thumb.

I've reported you and I'm also having it out with you as we get idiots like you who pop up every time we lose and quite frankly I'm pissed off with it.

Do you get me?
Once again you come out calling people names and being abusive and you say it’s me who has the problem...
