I would have given it to Garcia as he was immense but went for Jesus who had a far far better second half.Unlucky not to get a hat trick.

Garcia was excellent - assured, composed and defended when he needed to. Gundogan though was simply superb and totally in control from the first minute to the last.

Could genuinely make half a case for every outfield player, that was a really good performance. The two full backs were excellent as were the two cb's. Just a quality, controlled game.

Thought Ferdi was on it all game, Gundog had a cracker great pass for Jesus. Jesus 2 goals but for a nice overall performance today Garcia

I could give Fernandinho motm nearly every game he is that good but with Garcia having 2 cracking games on the trot I gave it him with Jesus joint second best player

Fernandinho for me, his one on one tackling was immense on 3 or 4 occasions.

Good night for Gabby, pity he didn’t get his hat-trick.

Garcia proving he deserves his step-up to regular football.

Foden much more influential in the second half, lovely to see the calm assurance David brings to the side in his cameo.

Anytime I've seen Garcia he just reminds me of a young cannavaro. Played well tonight. I've been critical of Mendy recently but put a good shift in. Gundogan was also solid.
