Biggest mistakes of the decade.

yeah weird because like you say, post Xmas we were crap in the league
Think it is a good argument for the CL, while prestigious, being just another cup and despite what the Scousers think, not hard hitting proof for a teams greatness.
Our worst team since entering got closest to the trophy!

Easily the semi final 2nd leg against madrid. That game did not feel like we was only one goal away from the final whatsoever. It was so flat and we never went for it
Oh and obviously letting Dzeko go and signing bony..... what was they smoking

Serious question. How hard is it to learn to kick or roll the ball out to your own player rather than welly it up front and hope?

After 4 years watching a Guardiola side and 3 watching Ederson do you really think that's what they do that Hart couldn't?

Biggest mistakes are how we are continually being taken for granted and mugged off by the club!

Heated seats before cheap seats.

Digital advertising before cloth flags

Moules mariniere before meat pies

Ambience before atmosphere

Corporate before common

Johnny comes lately before Johnny been all his life

Half n' half scarf before sky blue dyed in the wool scarf

Gucci before gravy

Bourguignon before Bovril

Kompany's mates before Manc mates

Match day experience before(of) experiencing Hugh Ferris boring me to fuckin' sleep bleating shite every home game

Etc etc

Getting rid of Hart for Bravo

You really cannot see why Hart had to go?

The mistake with Bravo was not dropping Hart.

We were heavily linked with a crazy 22 year old Brazilian keeper in the summer of 2016 but didnt persue him reportedly because he had a 30m buyout and had only been Benfica's number 1 for 4 months (even though that included an incredible CL performance against Guardiola's Bayern).

That was the mistake we made. Or you could also argue that we should have paid the €60m buyout of ter Stegen who was threatening to leave Barcelona because he was stuck behind Bravo...

As good as Ederson is, and I think he is very very good, Ter Stegen is probably the best goalkeeper in the world with the feet to match.
Is my memory failing, or did the first reports when we signed Bravo actually say we signed Ter Stegen?
