Our injury list
OX
Keita
Milner
Fabinho
Clyne
Shaq
Matip
Lovren
That’s 8 players, at least 5 coming back this month.
Just because Mane or VVD haven’t been injured doesn’t mean we’ve had no injuries.

yet the community shield does? Your own manager values the “prestigious” club World Cup.

Not like we got the 3rd highest points total in English history last year without VAR or anything...
We can win the league, cup and CL(again)
Will we? Probably not but it’s definitely possible.

i love the quote about winning cup competitions. Your manager would be out of the fa cup tomorrow if it guaranteed you winning the league so don’t be booking hotels for cup final weekend.

Woah there, don't try and steal my glory :-) This was covered on page 1052 plus the other time Fenway/Red Sox were caught cheating. They are serial cheats.
Apologies mate, I spotted it on the BBC and didn’t think to check if it had been posted already.

Maybe I’ve gone about this wrong but I said we would be the best ever IF we won the treble, I’ll repeat IF we won the treble (plus the other 2 trophies) and broke the points record we’d be the best.
I think the city centurion side are the best ever, if we beat the record surely were the best, if you disagree you must accept a argument could be made. I’m here to see a rival fans viewpoint so I am open to being swayed in this viewpoint

Come back when you've won back to back league titles whilst scoring a record number of goals in the process. It's not what you've won, it's how you've won it.

Win everything domestically with a record points haul and do it after you have won the league the season before as well and we will talk.

Congrats on being crowned the greatest PL side ever though for being top at xmas.

Loving the Sky dig at the dippers for the Tottenham fixture at the weekend... they’ve dared to use the slip word and show that moment when they bottled the league. Cue mass cancellation of Sky subscriptions and candlelit vigils on Merseyside!

We play a good style, not the best football(City-PSG level) but better than most in the league. I don’t think winning it B2B is a requirement(especially after how good we were last year) the invincibles didn’t do it consecutively yet are the greatest ever to many people. If we broke the record than the only thing you could hold against us is that we’ve only won it once, which I do get though disagree with.

I don’t think winning it twice is a requirement, the great arsenal side didnt do it. Us winning the treble and breaking the points total would be hard to argue against. Though nothing is won yet.

You made a point about being bookies second favourite to win the champions league. That holds no significance what so ever but may I ask who is favourite? May I ask who’s favourite to win the fa cup and league cup too? If you want to use bookies odds this isn’t the place to, we are favourites for everything.

I also clocked your list of injuries, you embarrassingly included the likes of Clyne as if that matters one jot. When did he even last play for you? When we complain of injuries we are talking Sane and Laporte, the equivalent of you losing VVD and mane. Liverpool haven’t had any major players injured for a massive length of time. We’ve had two hugely important players missing all season. We’ve then had our back up defenders injured during that period too leaving a defence of Fernandinho and Rodri. The double whammy being losing Fernandinhos presence in midfield.

Liverpool may well match or even better our 100 point season. It certainly would put them in the arguments of best teams, we got told that season we had to retain the title though, which we did so you have that to come: what I would say is when we achieved that we didn’t have:
Opposing keepers throwing it into their own net
Offside goals
Massive helping hand through VAR. after the wolves game it was pretty widely accepted how much var you boys have had in your favour in comparison to everyone else. That’s not taking anything from what should be your title win. You still will have deserved it, just not with the gap and points total you will end up with.

The media told us despite smashing all records we had to retain the title to prove we are a great team, you got nothing for coming 2nd,our name is on the trophy and not yours

You guys had more bookings for dives on record than Liverpool last season.

who cares about 30 years? This team hasn’t been together 30 years so it’s irrelevant
If we do the treble and break the record we’ll be at least top 2. We’d have European and domestic success aswell as the record to boot
Also I’m not Indian lol, where’d you get that from?

I keep seeing this “if we win the treble” you won’t win the treble. Klopp tried his best for you to exit the FA Cup. Just like he does every year and the same with the League Cup. He fields that side again and you’re out. He will be fully concentrating on wrapping the league up and retaining the Champions League. If he achieved both it would be a great season and they’d be rightly spoken of as one of the best teams ever.
Never quote the invincibles as one of the best teams ever. Not losing all season is a great achievement, drawing 12 games isn’t. You can get relegated unbeaten.

I think Liverpool have got a great side and it might go on to prove very successful but at the moment you are at the start of your journey and as yes have not won a domestic title.

Our team last season which reached 98 points and won the domestic treble included players like Aguero, Silva, Kompany who have won the league title 4 times and Fernandinho who has won it three times so I think its a bit premature to think of your current side at that level.

However that may change over time and looking back in 5/6 years will be a better indicator of where this Liverpool side stands.

We’re the best team in the league this season(most none Liverpool fans think it’s over) we’re at least the second best team in the cup and we’ve been to two finals in a row in Europe(second favourite according to the bookies)
We have a good chance.

Tell me what part is deluded? The part about breaking the record(which we’re on course to do) or winning the CL which we currently are holders?

That’s the main reason I don’t think we’ll win all 3, if we get favorable draws and sqaud players stop getting injured he may have no choice but to try and go all the way.

That’s fair enough, they’re not huge trophies but I still respect them. I brought up the injury mainly to show that our B/FA cup team could get a lot stronger and could lead to us winning it
You are never going to win the treble given that klipperty throws the domestic cups at the expense of the chumps league/ premier league.

and point that alone (if it is indeed correct) should open your eyes as to the difference in refereeing between our two teams.

Salah/Mane fall over after minimal contact (ie CHEATING) - DEFINITE FOUL/PENALTY/RED CARD FOR THE OPPOSITION
Sterling/Silva/Aguero chopped down - YELLOW CARD FOR DIVING

Open your eyes pal, you won't walk into as many things if you do ;)

I never used the words “dazzling” also VAR isn’t why we’re top. Here’s some facts that disprove your deluded claim. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.co.uk/football/english-premier-league/story/3929823/how-var-decisions-have-affected-every-premier-league-club?platform=amp

Those stats are just meaningless as they only cite instances when VAR has actually got involved (rightly or wrongly) and doesn't include any of the occasions where it's allowed play to continue without even looking for an infringement; is Trent Alexander Arsehole's penalty listed? What about Salah's tigh offside decision? VAR still working that one out? What about all those contentious fouls against Everton? Mane's dive against Spurs? Mane's dive against Leicester? ...etc...etc...etc

That VVD handball was so far back in the buildup to that goal the other week wasn't it, I fully understand why they refused to look at it tbh ;)

Pffft, you're a GOOD team that has been made to look "great" by the fawning media and the corrupt refs, and only deluded saps are buying into it.

Whilst I’d normally agree. Every pundit and paper told us we’d only be considered great if we won back to backs. Which we did, with 198 points over two seasons. And playing the best football the PL has seen, scoring the most goals the PL has ever seen.

Though during the attack we lost the ball. I’m not sure if when I believe otamendi half cleared it it counted as a “new phase of play” if so goal stands.
Exactly the same happened when you played at Chelsea and their goal was still disallowed even though they’d lost the ball and Liverpool had attempted to clear it.
