While I think you’ll struggle on your points, for me it’s difficult to predict what this will sell out at. A fair few will swerve it because of what happened last time. I’m one of them and I have nearly 21000 points and on the cup scheme. Add in the fact it’s names on tickets and passport checks so no-one will be buying tickets to pass on (unless they’re a complete idiot), and I reckon this will drop a fair bit lower than 18k.
On the flip side, this could be a popular game for the corporates and a fair chunk of tickets might end up getting snapped up by them.

I'd say we're about 1k tickets short of the minimum 5% allocation. They're redeveloping the stadium but I didn't think capacity had been affected yet.

Still think we'll take about 2k-ish though so I think there should be enough for those that want one.

My estimates have been pretty good for the last few seasons.

Well considering our fans who ain't on cup scheme are being charged upwards of £60/70 I'd imagine pretty much the same.

Barcelona charged €100 few years back thought Madrid would do the same so this again is pretty good.

Hoping it will drop lower and someone can get one for me, otherwise it’s the home end.

It will drop a lot lower than 18k I'd expect. One reason being your name has to be written on the ticket so you're taking a huge potential risk getting someone else to buy a ticket. The prices will put some off as well I think, as will the thought of the Spanish police. Anyone who's seen them in full flow will think twice about going. And there's no 18-25 allocation for cup games, just for the PL.

I was at that match. I was in the home end as didn't have enough points to get in the away end. Much more pleasant experience in the home end.
In Spain they just don't know how to treat away fans. Is the same at Barcelona. They don't have an away match culture there so react with extreme prejudice.
I reckon if you leave it to a couple of weeks before, you will be able to find a home end ticket and get in and out without a problem.

And notwithstanding, Madrid is a FANTASTIC city.

Good chance you will not get in unless it is the correct name on the back.
Refusal with a few good kicks and hits with a baton thrown in for good measure.
Not worth the risk.
