I like Martinelli.Martinelli and Greenwood are potentially very good players.

Well if we're arguing semantics you could answer that either way...And we have a say in that?
They're both very special players. Should be almost impossible go get them though, as both clubs count on them for the futureMartinelli and Greenwood are potentially very good players.
If a player doesn't want to join us, saying we are insane if he goes elsewhere means what thenWell if we're arguing semantics you could answer that either way...
I said we're insane if we "let" him, which is where some subjective interpretation comes in.If a player doesn't want to join us, saying we are insane if he goes elsewhere means what then
Greenwood is so good that I think he could be world class even playing for the rags. An insane talentMartinelli and Greenwood are potentially very good players.
Pep has said no several times, phil is replacing daveFoden won't be replacing David Silva in the short term, a top class midfielder will be brought in

Good idea to think of a timeline. The problem we have is we are basically going to be "held hostage" by Agueros form unless Pep changes his formation. The 4 main candidates are likely to go in these years IMO -
Lautauro Martinez - 2020
Mbappe - 2021/2022
Håland - 2021/2022
Martinelli - 2022/2023
That means we are going to have to constantly weigh up if Aguero has another 30 goal season, and if keeping him for an extra year but missing out on a striker who could score 30 year for 5-10 years is worth it.
So if we get to 2021 and Mbappe wants to come but Sergio wants to stay 1 more year...theres going to be a really hard decision.
A lot of the time when big clubs replace their legends effectively, theres an awkwardly rushed farewell, like Raúl at Real Madrid.

I don't see Mbappe at all as realistic, I'd replace him with Werner.
Haaland I like because I think I read part of his deal at Dortmund is having a reasonable release clause, which we have done well with (Laporte).
I'm not sure about Martinelli, I can't see how ANY top 6 prem club would sell there best young forwards to another prem team.
My go to are Martinez and Werner, easy to justify with there age and especially with Sane/David likely leaving together I don't think we even have to wait for Sergio to leave imo. Just play say Martinez more often as you rest Kevin and give Jesus minutes on the wings. Go with 2 up top as well.
The issue is going to be when we add 12 months onto his deal this summer. Does Jesus stick around and wait? Do you sell Jesus on and just buy whoever the next version is? Do you try to get Lautaro and figure he can rotate in and play some out wide/in a two striker system as well? The problem we have is we are basically going to be "held hostage" by Agueros form unless Pep changes his formation. Maybe, honestly hard to tell the direction a team goes but I think Arteta will do a good job there, and if backed properly, can make Arsenal with Chelsea battling for 3rd.Arsenal were selling us their best young players when we were upstarts and they were coming off the invincibles and the golden age of Wenger.
In 2/3 years time they'll just be Everton or Leicester to us. Europa regulars, no league titles in nearly 20 years.
It's almost like folks are not watching what's happening in real life. They are watching their imagination. Werner is figuring it out in real time. Yet folks are sleeping on himIf we let Werner go to another English club we are insane.

It is my opinion but i do know we have a deal in place for a top French midfielder, and I know from the players side and not from anyone at City.I like the way you post in facts and not opinion
