To be fair, if the incubation period is 2 weeks, there will be thousands of people in the UK with the virus that don’t even know it yet. I could have it, you could have it. It will have already been spreading undetected.

Yep. Apparently the two people are from York and are being transferred to Hull hospital. Don’t know how true that info is.

The train I get to work goes to/comes from Leeds. If the first cases are in York there will be a fuck load of people in Yorkshire carrying it currently, not a stretch that some will have been on my train if it’s coming from Leeds. I’m doomed. Would I be panicking too much to start driving into work? Or is that just being sensible?

I might work from home in a biohazard suit.

I work in IT communications and networks and we purchase a lot of goods from the wuhan region. I suspect there will be fallout from factory closures in a matter of weeks/months...

I know mate. I got ill mid September and it took me till Christmas to properly shift it. 2 rounds of steroids and half a dozen inhalers with having COPD.
