Fair enough but you brought up how much money Farage earned on the side,in comparison to Blairs filthy lucre it's pocket money.
Blair won 3 elections and was prime minister,as with other prime minsters and presidents they make lots of money, that's just the way it is,farage is a failed politician with one message,he couldn't even win a seat on multi tryings

Well I'd hardly say he failed when he got what he campaigned for all these years (so far) still if you believe saint Tony got his money fair and square and isn't a turd of the greatest magnitude and a proven liar not least in his brexit meddling good luck to you.

I didn't say any of that,my view on blair has nothing to do with my view on farage i was giving you the difference between them,i don't know why you deflected from farage to blair in the first place,if you are a leaver and farage fan then we don't have anything in common so i'm out

Oh dear

I've just been listening to Vince Cable on BBC News and he was surprisingly measured to be fair. He reckoned it would be at least 10 years before rejoining the EU could be raised, if then.
It's a much harder sell.

Adopt Euro, Schengen, EU Defence Force, sovereignty to EU Parliament. All "new" EU members must accept these terms to be a member.

But if brexit is a "colossal failure", we won't be allowed to join if our economy is awful. If our economy is great following brexit, then why would we need the EU?

We've had people on this very website citing the United States as "the enemy".
I’m not talking about them though.
Don’t believe I ever have.
Do you back that kind of triumphalism shown on your BBC news?
That’s all I’m wondering.
If you do for whatever your reasons. Fair enough. Means little to me either way.
Reminds me a lot of flag burning up North at one point or stamping on the Stars and Stripes in the Middle East. That’s all.

Aaaaand it's gone!

One is a flag that oversaw every invention worth doing being made. One that defeated fascism and Hitler, one that had the industrial revolution. One that became the most successful country ever despite being a small island. One that defeated ethnic cleansing in Eastern Europe. One that defeated Napoleon.

The other means nothing.

Well you should, in fact if this bothers you now, why haven't you spoken against them before?
You aren't being selective in your outrage, I hope.

People are free to express themselves however they wish. I neither support nor condemn it, but approve and accept of their right to do so. When it comes to something, ike flag burning, you're either supportive of the action or you're against the action if it disrespects the causes you adhere to, which would make you a hypocrite. People can burn the Union Jack for all I care, it means nothing to me as I don't care for it nor would act in such a way. That's their opinion and it's one I don't share, but I respect their right to do it, same with burning the EU flag.

Nothing more.

Well, it DID when it represented the Council of Europe. Once the EU, federal superstate advocates stole it for their own political aims it became worthless as an image.

Plus the EU flag isn't a nations flag, same as its anthem.

The EU's "flag" and "anthem" just shows how they cobbled together some aspects of parts of European culture to force some sort of indentity rather than let it develop naturally.

It was more "THIS IS OUR FLAG" and "THIS IS OUR ANTHEM", without any explaination why or any connection to anything credible. A Plastic Union that tried to fasttrack it's way into significance and credibilty, and achieving neither.

Just for the record I would like it known in the Politics Forum that I will not now, or at any time in the future be attending a Brexit party organized or otherwise, nor will I be eating party food or drinking lager like some giddy lout. I will of course be having a chicken kebab delivered shortly with no salad and garlic sauce but you have my assurance that is a regular non Brexit related occurrence and I may also have one or two G and T's but only because it's Friday. For those that will be celebrating may I take this opportunity to wish you all a pleasant evening and hope all your wishes and dreams come to fruition. That is all except to say that if you do go ahead and celebrate this momentous occasion then our beloved leader will not be interacting or having a drink with you now, or in fact ever again.

I was never of the celebrating persuasion and have no penchant now or in the immediate future to upset our remainer chums, so shortly I shall withdraw without any fuss to the TV room to watch a nice film in Ultra HD.

Sat in Che Hababana on grand place sitting drinking a tom collins under a picture of Fidel Castro.

You twats stick to watching mark francios wanking onto a union flag in parliament sq in an hour I will be dancing away with many nations in unity and having real fun
