At 22:56 the DJ announced "Three minutes until we leave Europe. Any Romanians in you've got Three minutes to fuck off home!"

If this is a snapshot of a post Brexit UK I'm genuinely sad for the country.

Can’t claim to know all his/her posts but in my recollection of what I’ve seen in the political forum his brevity often cuts through the ridiculousness of the certainty of convictions that are on show.
As a mere observer in a lot of it, I find those interludes quite welcome at times. Baiting may be a fair observation but I don’t think I’ve ever felt that the posts were belittling.

Im no stalker of his material however.

That’s ok, people are different. We see, read and respond to things differently.

He reasons well, but from an online respective. He hasn’t experienced any of the world. He’s made his mind up from his bedsit in Gorton by googling everything. Whilst his depth of googling has to be commended, the lack of life knowledge is tellingly missing.

Even that is excusable as he knows no different.

Anything that is challenged because any part of it may be deemed wrong by anybody is batted off by him being misrepresented or misunderstood.
I doubt in the numerous threads over the past 3+ years that he has ceded any point to anyone. That cannot be right, unless he is a fundamentalist borne from online research.

He more likely to have a hairy muff than an ample apple and has some recycled meme/link/tired repetitive,generic response to belittle a poster he dislikes/stick up for a poster with a similar view to him, before “fading away to lurk” whilst he finds another recycled meme/link/tired repetitive,generic response that applies to another post he can reply to.

Truth is, my view to all in here is that I don know you from Adam. So when I read a lot of the shit in here. I stop and reread it. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Are they attempting humour or are they genuinely being pricks.

I don’t believe most on a football forum where we all support the same team are trying to be dicks in the Political section just because....

People can be dicks. I can be. But even in, what seems like some of the more acerbic quips, sometimes you have to stand back and wonder if you’re mate said that in the pub, would you read it the same way.
That’s the way a lot of posters write.
Like they’re amongst friends, because we’re in a City site. But the truth is we don’t know each other from Adam and can’t assume to know exactly what each posts nuances are getting at.

What you do see a lot of, very much in the off football topic stuff, is people going out of their way to misinterpret what on the face of things can be fairly innocuous.

As an aside, my friends in town all had a shot at 11, not in celebration, the opposite. Luckily for me personally I'm off to live and work in the EU next month and whilst it means I'll be giving my season ticket up, I can't wait to learn a new culture, language, and lifestyle.
