So without a dispute resolution method ..... how do we agree a trade deal
Think it depends on what involvement means personally. I expect in the end we will have no choice but to align with eu rules, we may get them to agree an independent body to rule on whether we have digressed. Call it something else that doesn't sound like ECJ.

Mate from day one of this debate three and half years ago it was obvious you were and still are in total denial of the referendum result and a quitter to boot. The guff you have posted in that time has been repeatedly proven to be utter nonsense. Sure we have problems as an economy but no where near as many as others in the world including the EU. If you don't like it pop over to the tax haven economy of the ROI, you know the one that we the UK bailed out 10 yrs ago!? or move north of the border to Sturgeons fanciful braveheart land which she convieniently forgets is subsidised by the rest of UK . We are the 5th biggest economy in the world, you would do well to remember that when you post your sniveling crap.

I will put my mortgage on it had Labour been in power and Corbyn taking us out he and many others on here would have been the biggest brexiteers on here.

Anti Tory anything is all they are.

I hope your pain is receding

Think you are right in your first line though;-)
Not really mate but I'm sure i'll survive ok :-)

Haven't seen much evidence of a Johnson super negotiating strategy yet. He was talking pre-packaged the other days which smacked of 'you propose something and we will tell you why we don't like it'. Early days though.

come now len you have said many times farage Johnson and the myriad of leavers are liars and charlatans . Why would you suddenly start to measure success against what those lying bastards told us.

surely a better measure of success for you would be measure the success of brexit against all the expert predictions you and your pals endlessly posted on here.

huge unemployment
Deep recession
Companies leaving the uk
Financial institutions flocking from London
No drugs
Companies Can’t import or export goods into the eu , due to your favourite phrase , non-tariff barriers.

Tell me will brexit be a success for you if all this comes true or if it doesn’t ?

which would you prefer?
Nice try at dissembling mate.
We were promised we'd be better off ( at least no worse off).
So that's how I'll measure the success of brexit.
Not by some post referendum bar set artificially low.

I have no worries how you measure it as I know it will be much better than the so called expert prediction crap spouted on here for the last few years. Mystic meg would have been more accurate.

Btw try the word “obstacles” as an alternative. Why use three words when one will do.

He cant afford no deal with his election promises, so it sounds like he wants a second rate eu deal and hope he can make it up with other deals. Those other deal makers will know we are desperate and will take years. Still at least I m free this morning.

He can afford ‘no-deal’ as it will all be blamed on the EU. Government ministers are already doing the rounds saying that there will be checks

It may all be part of an elaborate negotiating strategy but we’ll see

Personally, I think Johnson wants it all to go away and will hope people aren’t paying attention in 6-9 months. And I think it will work - see Friday. There were celebrations because we are going into a transition period that 6 months ago we were told was unnecessary. Remember ‘clean break’ Brexit?

The ‘points based system’ is a red herring and widely unworkable unless people are happy for 1) to have very low points so the vast majority of people will not be effected or 2) see the hospitality industry, agricultural industry, care ‘industry’ and others go by the wayside. Some are happy for that so, fair enough

The General Election was won on sound bites. There is absolutely no reason why the government will change course now

As it turns out, I think it will essentially be business as usual in 12 months and if you’d been in a coma for 5 years you won’t notice any difference. That’s the only way we will make a success of it and won’t have to wait 50yrs for the benefits(Rees-Mogg:2019) and those that voted to loose their jobs(Andrea Leadsom:2019) won’t lose their jobs

The Justice Court of the United Kingdom and Europe. Perhaps?

It will be like a lot of Brexit. Just change the words and stay the same. The government have treated the public like they are thick for the past 4 years so there is no reason why they will change now

Ok is Norway subject to the ecj?

I will give you another clue it does not begin with Y
To be fair I think many remainers would be happy to take a Norway thpe arrangement under EFTA. Those most against it seem to be in government unfortunately, and Farage now though he used to be for it. And some would say we were still under the jurisdiction of a ‘european court’

Always good to dip in and out of this thread. Until the next time.i will leave you with this thought not that you and many already in the know hadn't realised. But why do people think the EU are so desparate for us to be aligned with their tax, rules and standards if Brexit is such a bad thing? Why not let us make our own bed?
