Bloody hell! Didn't see that one coming.
It's now time for our owners and management to step up to the plate and take these bastards down.
Apart from the legals let's immediately prioritise signing Pep for a further 3 years and winning all remaining fixtures for the current season.Time for everyone to get behind the club.

I could not care less.

I just hope this doesn't in any way makes it more difficult to get the players we want in the transfer market.

Being out of the biggest club competition in the world for 2 years, loss of revenue and a fine, yeah we will hardly notice the difference.

uefa, united, dippers, madrid, barce, bayern, all fucking hate us and frankly don’t want or need us

Exactly this, combined they are far more important than us, we are a boil on their arse which they've just squeezed, we are a lone ship with no other clubs prepared too back us, truth and justice won't prevail and the ban will stand, ****s the lot of em

Hold on. The club injected 2.7bn euro revenue over 7 years? So they are saying that on average we injected €400m every season?
How the fuck does that add up when we were reporting between £300m - £500m revenue each year which includes all the tv and prize money that we received?

Something very, very wrong here.

Looks like in the summer we'll be playing an invitational four team tournament for a £200m prize fund, with the other three teams made up with camel herders sand shovelers and hotel waiters
Or we play a friendly against a UAE team with tickets going for $200M each. We sell 4 tickets to HRH and his pals and split the revenue.

Not really, what’s true doesn’t matter as people are interested in what’s really happened just the headline. That’s all it needed.

This was always going to ultimately end up in this state.

Personally, I'm glad that it finally has. Now we can properly see what evidence both sides has and we will know whether our faith in our owners has been well placed.

except UEFA have said if we appeal they won't disclose the details of their case haven't they? Its like an impeachment !

Lot of talk of here 'we must win it this year now'. Do you really think we are going to win the competition this year? Not a fucking hope will UEFA and its officials let us win this competition. They'll find a way to shaft us against Madrid with decisions. Funny feeling the 'VAR screens will be broken again'.

I have to say it's amazing how many people on here are pretending to celebrate this like being out of Europe is a great thing because it's not your favourite competition or you can cancel your BT Sports subscription.

Don't you think at all about the players or the coaches who hold lifelong dreams of winning the thing? Silva said at least 2 years ago he thought he'd retire if we won, he's literally been holding out for it, and others like Aguero, KDB, Fernandinho will be the same. I could never celebrate something which is either going to deny some of our greatest players ever their last couple of chances at this competition, or potentially cause some to leave.
Well it's up to them to win it this season then.

lets see if city have big balls and go for them, or take it up the arse, and take it on the chin
and I don't want to take a 1 year ban because that will still mean we are the sinners

TAKE IT TO THEM CITY AND FUCKING GO AT THE FUCKERS TO GET AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE OFF THEM
and if we do take it on the chin and let them fuck us over then im done with football
I think it will be quite hard to take it up the arse and on the chin at the same time.

What the fuck is this doomsday mentality? First of all it is obvious UEFA had this planned to coincide with an important upcoming CL fixture. They waited 6-8 months to make a decision they already made after their own judiciary report. I hardly see CAS allowing this and furthermore the European Court of Justice. FFP clearly is a fabrication that has no legal standing ground. At worst it will be reduced to single season.

Why are people worried about signings? United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, and plenty other teams managed to sign players despite not being in the CL. The only difference it makes is how much we will pay in wages.

We will see in a few months time but I am confident this will be overturned.

I’m sure we can.

Whatever happens, we can all be assured that Khaldoun, and therefore, HRH, will hire the best lawyers they can find to fight the case for us.

As the club statement says, this was an investigation initiated by UEFA, prosecuted by UEFA and judged by UEFA.

In other words, it’s a fucking stitch-up!

Yes. UEFA as accuser, prosecutor, judge and jury. You don’t get any more corrupt than that.

The last paragraph says that if City appeal UEFA will not publish the reasons for their decision ie show what evidence they have. How convenient for them. This is a game of poker and the stakes couldn't be higher. UEFA have taken a huge gamble after what CAS revealed this week. Perhaps the strategy is that UEFA know the ban will be overturned without them having to explain their decision and that CAS will get them off the hook.
Then the club sue for damages so the evidence will have to be revealed and the breaking of the confidentiality agreement which CAS have already described as disturbing
