Would be great if he says oh thanks for the reminder pulls out a piece of paper signs it and says that the next 5 years sorted
Would be great but i think if we are banned from the CL for 2 years and it's proved we've done wrong then he'll walk away.
Don't think Pep will trust the powers that be at the club again

Fully expecting a Chelsea vs Barcelona style fix against Madrid.
Well, the UEFA officials and match officials should take a good hammering, along with any members of the press who are brave enough to be there. Let's get banned for something real.

Can it be fast tracked? Surely this will be a very detailed and complicated case. Surely City could string out the CAS appeal much longer if strategically they decided that was in the best interests of the club.

They probably could but I assume we won't as any ban would be better sooner rather than later. Also I would assume we will try to make life a bit easier for the CAS to try and paint UEFA as the bad guys.

CAS will almost certainly want this dealt with before next season though. However, like it's been mentioned, there are courts beyond CAS that could delay the ruling even longer. So the club do have options in terms of a time frame.

Still expect an outcome before next season though.

A question for the legal experts, can we take this matter beyond CAS and if so what are the options?
No CAS is the end from their website
“Judicial recourse to the Swiss Federal Tribunal is allowed on a very limited number of grounds, such as lack of jurisdiction, violation of elementary procedural rules (e.g. violation of the right to a fair hearing) or incompatibility with public policy.”

In my mind’s eye, we win the thing and refuse to collect the trophy and players and fans celebrate together. Or David collects the trophy, turns it upside down and plants it on the head of UEFA’s chief arsehole.

Surely this can’t all be done by the end of season start of next CL then given usual timescale of legal proceedings? So we are most likely to okay in the comp one way of the other next year??
Not sure of timescales but I'm assuming if City drag it on after CAS (if they can) could be years. Anyone with better knowledge, please correct me.
