It's a shame that some decent West Ham players are being asked to play like they did last night, at least try and attack, have a go ffs. Mentally, Moyes had already given up the game with that formation and I'm not alone in despairing when the bus gets parked. PLAY FOOTBALL, sometimes when you do a surprise result comes along.

west ham were embarrassing last night , how the fuck they don't get charged with being anti competitive is beyond me,a fucking disgrace, they will try the same tactic v Liverpool and get walloped at weekend, they deserve to go down with an attitude like that.

Fuck me - Clyde Best. Now you are going back along time.
One of the pioneers of Black footballers, and not a bad player back in his day.
I would say that his City equivalent back then was Stan Horne, although Stan was more of a play anywhere utility player iirc.( A bit like Dave Connor at the time).
Watched quite a bit of footage of whu back in clyde best days...clearly a hard working talented centre forward.

At 2 nil I was waiting for them to reach the point where they'd throw caution to the wind and have a bit of a go at least. I wasn't expecting to have to wait until the 92nd minute to be honest.

Bilic and Pellegrini tried the ‘have a go tactic’ against likes of City and Liverpool - We got out pummelled 5/6-0 and they lost their jobs.

it’s ok saying ‘just have a go’ and we go and play 3 strikers. But what bloody difference would it make really ? We wouldn’t even get in your half

This season a few clubs have turned us over. Only Wolves and Utd at home though

To be honest, that’s all it’s taken for some teams to win this year. You get into our half and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

exactly. Both way ahead of us.

We set up for a 0-0, win the odd set piece and you never know. Like we did at Chelsea.

going gung ho and playing an attacking line up. You would have trounced us.

West Ham could have had the odd go here and there and not been so utterly negative throughout the whole 90-odd minutes, if only to give their fans something to cheer about. Instead Moyes went so negatively the game was effectively over as a footballing spectacle before kick-off.
What he and the club did last night to the fans who paid good money and travelled all that way was nothing short of disgraceful. A full refund and an open apology should be forthcoming, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

i'd be a millionaire if west ham refunded me every bad performance.

I like West Ham and have a few friends who are season ticket holders - far and away the best London club IMHO. Very worried about them after Wednesday night - no fight at all - a couple of decent performances - thought Rice did well but they are in a dog fight and they need to show a lot more than they did against us if they are going to get another 3 or 4 wins.

Fans respect the under dog especially if they go toe to toe. Moyes needs hanging in public for that display and Whu deserve much better
God only knows how he got the job.

For the money West Ham have spent and the players they have, Wednesdays performance was nothing short of a disgrace..

I felt sorry for their fans who turned up to watch..

3 shots, none on target and 1 corner..

Newport, Oxford and Shrewsbury gave us more problems..

Their team offered nothing and even after going 1 down they didn't change tactics..

Their goalkeeper was still taking an age to get the ball back in play.

Hanging on, hoping to snach an equaliser at the death..

The only player who looked interested and tried was Rice..

He will be gone in the summer if he has any sense..

Shocking poor, set up by a man who's a self proclaimed winner..

They look favourites for the drop to me..!
