The Boxing thread

Fury is as good as he's always said he is. A generational talent that will go down as an all time great. Two fights against AJ and maybe one against Whyte will earn him over 100m and he'll set off into the sunset unbeaten as the lineal and unified world heavyweight champion.

I had a feeling he'd ko him and wish I had a bit of the 5/1 on offer. There's nothing wrong with his power it was hi game plan holding him back from more ko's. Freddy Roach was right about the first fight. He also looked amazing with that extra weight on his chest.

Fair plays to Fury, Wilder out of his depth and with those chicken legs was always going to struggle when his got hit squarely. Fury not even a big puncher really. But congrats in order no doubt.

Sometimes fury looks good but doesn’t look like he has a knockout in him
Tonight he was on it
Fully fit and in a good place mentally he is a superstar
The singing just tops it off for me
The others look the business but he is a level above

Wilder team saying he wants the trilogy. They’re gonna say Fury boxed a bit naughtily with the holding and headlocks, the first knock down was back of the head and Wilder’s balance issues were down to a damaged ear drum. But none of it will wash even if there’s an element of truth to all of it. He was totally outclassed and our muscled and needs to go in another direction. No one wants to see that again.

Very very impressive. I honestly hadn't realised just how freaking BIG he is either. He's 6 foot 9 and twenty stone FFS. His reach is ridiculous. Combine that with speed and the best outright boxing skills around and he is one hell of a handful.

Honestly, I would not give Joshua a cat in hell's chance. Will he even have the bottle to take it on?

Let's be honest, Fury outboxed him and won last time had the fight been anywhere else in the world.

I cannot see anything other than a repeat if there was a #3. Fury is just too big for Wilder to get on the front foot like he has always done before.
