Point being UEFA have obviously got wind that Gill,cough,cough,the Premier League will follow suite and sanction us points this season.The points sanction will be just enough for us to finish outside European places and nudge the Rags from 5th,to 4th.Meaning we dont qualify for Europe this season anyway.

The 2 year ban become a 3 year Ban.

It is, but it’s a pretty straightforward thing for them to get right. If I was the club, I’d be seeking clarification on it and getting them to do a public revision to the statement. Anything to make them look less competent, every little helps ;)

The wording is perhaps a little unclear ...

"... sanctioned with exclusion from the next two seasons of UEFA club competitions for which the club would qualify ..."

"from the next two seasons of UEFA club competitions" suggests that the punishment relates to two consecutive seasons. Remove "the next" and that would be a lot clearer, I suspect a simple error and they mean "should the club qualify".
