well considering (and I believe it was posted on here some time back) that both BT and sky have been losing viewing figures - it would make sense that they would want both liverpool and united back at the helm.

If viewing figures are hurting these 2 stations, which rely on the income that the PL interest generates, then I would be sure that this will be known at the premier league HQ. And probably why scudamore said what he said

UEFA describe it as independent, of course. As you know, that's UEFA (i.e. the Executive Committee consisting of Gill, Agnelli etc) describing the CFCB (i.e. members elected by the Executive Committee) as independent.
