Real Madrid (A) - CL R16 Post Match thread

Basically — everyone on earth can suck lovingly on my schlong. My pub was closed, the Liverpool fans I know said we had no chance, the press hates us, UEFA wants to screw us.

Well go fuck yourselves with a cucumber, you collection of anal beads — we are the amazing City and we were the better side, the more resilient side and the winning side. Kiss my fat white hairy ass and get to fuck. I love my club, come what may.

(Yes, I’m five Belgian ales in and fuck you).
Great, great, great, post.

Well done Blue.

Everything else can fuck off.

Trump, Brexit, Boris, Corbyn....

City beat Real 2-1 at their gaff........everything else can fuck off.......

Champions League is wide open this year.

I wouldnt write Atletico off like the BT commentators already have.

They rarely,if ever conceed more than 2 goals a game. And next time they face the Scousers Felix will be back, and Costa will have more game time.

Scousers have no away Goal.

Chelsea are out in my opinion.

Maureen only chance is sending everyone to sleep during the second leg.

And have you finished work yet?

We've finally grown up. It's a 2 legged affair, & we're only at half time, but Pep set us up to keep it tight during this leg, to give us an advantage at home. A brilliant, comfortable & mature performance.

Mendy has been brilliant these last two matches. A special shout also goes out to Laporte, Gundog, Silva, Mahrez & Walker. They were absolutely top tonight. My msn if the match has to be Jesus. He was all over the place, stuck to the plan, & delivered when we needed it most.

Guardiola put his philosophy to one side, to see us through tonight. Hopefully lessons will be learned for future tough away games.

Well when the draw was made my Dad said he fancied us to fuck them.

We’re half way there and I hope he’s watching from somewhere. 100% win rate since he passed. Just gutted he was around for 75 years and missed out on seeing us beat Madrid by 2 1/2 weeks.

Tonight’s a bit bitter sweet. Still waiting for his voice note text screaming “get it”.

We are here but for a sort time, it is the words and memories spoken by those of today and tomorrow, that keeps us alive for eternity!

I'm his biggest critic but tonight Gabby was fucking outstanding.

He worked his socks off & then done Ramos & got him sent off

Rodri looked out on his feet tonight, Gundagun was also very good.

Laporte injured hopefully itstiredness & muscle injury.

Dino was unbelievable & what a cameo Sterling had & needed

Only 1 I'm going to have a dig at is Mendy, better 2and half but shocking 1st.

Fans sounded class & hated to our manager best in the World

Fuck you UEFA
You forgot FFS Mahrez.

You say tomato, and I say tomato.

Ref was brilliant and had balls of steel.
I do believe that the formation and set up/positioning tonight really screwed up RM and got them flustered. We had a few chances , which we failed to put away, if we HAD scored those, it could have been a rout.
Mahrez seems to have gone back to being totally greedy instead of slipping the ball for the easy shot.
Gundogan was so much better, Pep working his magic on him?
Gabby was my MotM. His work rate was brilliant.

Did you watch game, lol? Laporte went off after 30 mins.

By the way, I concur with every other bit of your post. ;-)
