Good luck to them. Sterling, Sané maybe back, Jesus and/or Aguero up front, KDB spraying passes in behind. We're the worst team in the world to play when you're chasing the game and overcommitting up front.

And their talisman Ramos is banned.

Tbh I think the Ramos red was crap but absolutely delighted that we turned that around. We have had no luck in this competition it’s surreal to have a call go our way

Wish that red card would have happened 5 minutes earlier might have given us a chance to put the tie completely to bed.

Well when the draw was made my Dad said he fancied us to fuck them.

We’re half way there and I hope he’s watching from somewhere. 100% win rate since he passed. Just gutted he was around for 75 years and missed out on seeing us beat Madrid by 2 1/2 weeks.

Tonight’s a bit bitter sweet. Still waiting for his voice note text screaming “get it”.

He’s down the pub in the sky pissing himself laughing at Ramos right now and finding eternity to be just that much more enjoyable this evening.

No goals scored by any other English team in the CL so far. Liverpool LOSE in Madrid to a ‘very good’ Atletico team. City win in Madrid, against a team 10 points ahead of Atletico, serial winners of the CL but they’re ‘very shit’. At least they’ve decided not to even pretend anymore.
