Anti UEFA demonstration at Madrid game - whistles ?

If you're a football fan watching your team play away in Madrid, essentially everything you do is breaking the law...

Having a quiet pint, you'll get moved along.
Wearing your clubs shirt, you'll get a bollocking.
Calmly walking down the street, baton to the arse.

It's Franco's force and they're the worst police in Europe for football fans. God forbid they ever get a World Cup or Euros!

that's a bloody good point. It'll be typical City if we have breakaway and Jesus stops because he heard a whistle.
 
If you are going to bring a whistle to the game, may I suggest that if you want to blow it, to do it just as they are about to kick off. There also the possibility of blowing them right through the Champions League tune as well.

Please please, do not do it during the game, as this could put of the City players either through on goal, or players defending a Real Madrid attack.
 
I can't help but feel that on the night in the heat of the moment some people are gonna lose their heads and misbehave. And I wouldn't be surprised if that resulted in us being kicked out of the competition.

This all day demonstrate after if you have to.
 
I think everyone's getting a little bit too concerned about the whistles. It's just going to add to the atmosphere. We're not talking about one person peeping his whistle as Aguero's through on goal... we're talking hundreds being used consistently whilst Madrid have possession. The only reason it would affect the players is if it's one whistle being used intermittently. If everyone uses them throughout I don't see the issue. If there are hundreds of whistles, as well as thousands whistling without a whistle, booing and jeering, we could really get under their skin. Cheering whenever they lose possession. It dragged us over the line vs Liverpool last year which won us the league (and I can confirm there were whistles being used on the South Stand throughout that game).

It's one of the best techniques to unsettle an opposition team. Remember Timo Werner had to be subbed off in the first half v Besiktas? (https://www.rt.com/sport/404776-werner-noise-substitute-turkey-besiktas-leipzig/)

We don't realise the impact we could have. We know how much the boys need our support, they're desperate to win the thing this year. Let's give them every advantage we possibly can.
