That simply isn't correct. You think every other person who isn't a City fan is in thrall to UEFA?
No but they don't care. They consider our cash resources to make us as bad as the rest.
I stated when all this began that to stand a chance if success t we have to bat for the Newcastles, Sunderlands, Evertons, Leedses and Villas of this world to stand a cchance of success.
We haven't so we won't.
If we lose against UEFA we've lost big time. If we win, we've still lost.

Assuming that the case against us doesn't go well and we remain with a ban of some period and / or a fine, how do City expose the teams who have been instrumental in forcing UEFA to bring the charges against us, is the dippers , rags e.g. et al ?

@ PrestwichBlue ? is it likely that City have documentary evidence to support those claims ?

I don't often post. I prefer reading the opinions of others than expressing my own but having read most of whats gone before and seen things on social media the sceptic in me can't really believe that Uefa would first of all punish City in the way they have without having something more than a few newspaper articles. I'm reminded of a book I once read where someone was winning a battle too easily, so easily it made him uneasy, in the end he lost the battle because the enemy had a weapon he knew nothing about. i can't help feeling this may be the case here.

This is just not my experience, the vast majority don't give a toss about it, you're just focussing on the small number on social media, and/or the extremely biased media trolls.

I work with fans of many other clubs, and none of them mention it.
I agree that they don't give a toss. It doesn't mean they wont think we've cheated by throwing cash at the situation. The two positions are not mutually exclusive.

Actually, that is the most sensible thing I've read for some time. We are so involved that we think everyone else is bothered. Guess many fans from other teams will look at the outcome (if it's favourable to us) and then move on
Yes exactly, when its decided, if we win nothing more will be said apart from on social media, and 95% of the population will have forgotten about after a few days, if we lose there'll be lots of sniggering for a few days, and then normal life will kick in, and 95% of the population will forget (not give a toss).

The biggest issue here is social media trolls, many of them journalists.

I don't care if they do, win or lose, I'll still be a blue, and nobody can take away my experience of being one, warts and all over the years.

Seems like uefa's winning too easily; maybe it's us who's got the secret weapon...

Me too. I couldn't give a shit about what others think.

However, the point of what I'm trying to say is that to really win we have to destroy UEFA and the reality is the G14 cartel clubs dont really care about that one jot. For them it is a win win situation.

Then I guess we agree, and if they (old g14) break away, there will be a very different outcome heading their way imho.

Like you I very rarely post but I have tried to keep up with this thread. Haven't we only been charged with two things? 1 of falsely inflating sponsorship revenues when making submissions as part of the Financial Fair Play (FFP) compliance process; and 2 of breaching regulations by failing to cooperate in the investigation of the case by the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB)
So I wonder where UEFA's secret weapon is? CTID.

Madrid Club have been getting funding from the king of Spain for a long time and no big clubs had any concerns to raise on, i am surprise such hatred could be channel to a club who have been nothing but good to the football by investing huge to the game of football and what do they get in return?......... .

I believe the main charge is where the sponsorship money came from as opposed to its amount.

They don't really have one if we are going by their judgement here, they said nothing to make us believe on the ruling. It was morally right for them to bring a full report on the judgement after making it public.

If fans were to judge the case instead of CAS - what do you think the outcome would be?
It depends how you define ‘fans’? If you include the United and Liverpool ‘supporters’ who never been anywhere Old Trafford or Anfield, I suspect City would lose.

Calling all optimists, please start to post, the pessimists have taken the afternoon, please don’t let them rule through Saturday evening.

Be warned though @Big Dave Watson is active on the thread, all we need is @Benarbia to arrive and were all doomed, doomed I tell you...

Benarbia is here. But he’s been keeping usually quiet [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]
