As already mentioned Sky are advertising an interview Swanson has had with Ceferin already baiting it by indicating we and our ban will be the subject of the interview. Im not sure he can say anything more than he already has -fuck all (particularly as he had nothing to do with it and hasn't seen any of the information so he says). Lots of "process must take place" and lots of mentioning of the word "independant".
When has the president of UEFA ever given an interview on specific charges against individual clubs before - particularly before any CAS ruling?
Am I the only one who thinks they are incredibly transparent and are desperate to be seen as impartial by CAS?

Also occurred to me how come Ceferin had such a huge input into PSG's alleged investigation regarding size of sponsorships and yet has nothing to do with our investigation. Was that before his current appointment? Is he now trying to be poacher turned gamekeeper?

If the Bravo hadn't made that save on Sunday and then Villa exploited our crap penalties to win the league cup, then they would have been excluded anyway for breaching UEFA FFP as they only escaped EFL & PL sanctions by flogging the stadium to the owner and leasing it back which UEFA wouldn't include in their assessment. So they may as well go balls deep in this monitoring period should they stay up as even if they qualify they can't play in Europe anyway.

I had to explain this to one of the mouthy gits calling us cheats on Sunday

I don't think there was anything stopping them playing in Europe. First year in has no UEFA logging of past record.

I think Ceferin is careful about what he says, and especially over City.

One thing for sure it be a soft arse interview not asking the write questions and mainly stirring the shit about us!

He is trying to sway the result,in which direction we don't know because he is a snake

Not a chance in hell Cellophane will say anything of any value or new about the investigation.
He’ll reiterate he knows nothing and will push the IC and AC further away from the main body of UEFA.

You can already see them being set up as a sacrificial lamb, cut off as penance.

I think it depends on means of qualification, because the league cup is so early you would expect them to have ample time to review the qualifiers accounts before preliminaries are underway and knock off the villa park sale and tell them not a chance. certainly that was the viewpoint of the lesser wankers of the in-laws family that support them and actually looked into to some the details. Whereas say if Norwich were to Win the FA cup they wouldn't even be assessed for next seasons participation. (they would pass comfortably anyway but its a bizarre system)

Re Villa...

What are the sanctions for failing PL FFP?....obv for for Uefa its being banned from the champions league....but what for the PL?
There's a rolling 3 year period during which cumulative losses must not exceed £105m. Sanctions I assume are up to the Premier League.

The whole thing is in complete disrepute though as they used to have a wages cap, and I remember about a year ago I started to get interested in it as Utd were going to be up against it, and what did the Premier League do? They went and scrapped that rule.

An "increase in wages that was down to a rise in TV money" cap, I think. About 4%.

Could increase wages more if it was covered by commercial income.

They're horrific tbh, the club in question has to relocate to Birmingham.

As I remember the PL rules did not stipulate the source of income. They had an annual wage increase cap which could only go above a certain level if the club's revenue had increased and once Utd dropped out of the CL that became a problem for them.

PL has gone on record as saying that a successful Man Utd benefits the PL commercially so I suspect that's why they got rid of the rule. They did not want to hinder Utd.

Have they ever ?

He will be telling them that once UEFA get City banned and castrated and no danger to the cartel then the rules that snared City will be altered. This will then allow the clubs with history to keep their snouts in the trough.

Angelino has made his plans known anyway - Stout fellow
Angelino says Manchester City's Champions League ban could see him seek to leave the club permanently in the summer. Now, Angelino has been asked whether City's two-year ban from UEFA competition will affect his future at the club. City have registered an appeal against the ruling with the Court of Arbitration for Sport, and are confident they have done nothing wrong.
Nevertheless, Angelino says the prospect of going two seasons without Champions League football will be a deciding factor when it comes to assessing his future in the summer. “I feel very comfortable in Leipzig. I have to focus on RB," he told SportBild
