Champions League Games 10/11 March

The intensity from Liverpool is unbelievable. Ball after ball into the box with loads of players in there to receive it. And it gives the crowd something to get excited about.
TBH input it down to how crap Atletico are on the ball. They win 90% of the crosses coming in but rarely pick out one of their own players.

If they can’t clear it long up to halfway they just lose it in a danger zone. It’s poor really.
Yes Liverpool are relentless, but a little bit of calm on the ball. An outlet pass to their own player would lift a lot of pressure.

Cant stand klopp doing that silly fucking 3 punches. And the lemmings cheering each one. Its fucking embarrassing.
Cringiest fanbase in world football.

It looks like their clubshop are missing a trick, looking at what Gwyneth Paltrow did for candle sales.

Klopp's version: 'This smells like my arse' would break club records.

How many crosses did Liverpool put in, in that first half? The impressive thing is not their attack, it's how quickly they won the ball back or kept it and recycled it for yet another cross. Helps when you get away with 'tactical fouls' because nobody calls them tactical fouls when your team does it.

Matter of time before Liverpool get their 2nd.

Atletico not looked like scoring since the first 10mins.

athletico are really struggling to get into this now. They have no answer to Salah and Mane running at them and when they do get the ball are just giving it away cheaply.

Game is a forgone conclusion. Atleti should have put their chance away for 2-0 in the first leg but even with that their ultra defensive attitude just sets them up for failure. They bottled a 2-0 home win against Juve last year.

Atletico’s ball retention is awful. They should just go for it now. Carry on playing like this and they’ll get beat comfortably.
