I know mate. It’s all a bit mental everywhere at the minute. NHS especially so.....Honestly I had no idea. Too much time spent on here and trying to do some work at the same time.

This Government seems to have surrounded itself with crackpots. Their approach is ideological.
What you have to ask yourself is why are the experts being disingenuous, I have to assume it’s government lead, possibly for good reason, however it comes to something when the sports governing bodies have to cancel their own competitions and not from guidance from government.Don’t start bringing your family into the debate mate, I said I was sorry to hear about you losing your dad.
I have several family members at high risk here also, as everyone on this board will do. This thing isn’t personal to anyone and will effect the whole population.
What you don’t get is that I’m not dismissing other nations and their experts, nor am I even claiming ours are better in anyway. What I’m saying is they are giving advice specific to our population and our infrastructure.
I’m not even arguing they’re going to be proven right but we have these people in these positions to make these decisions based on our specific situation in the UK. What may work in China might not here.
What is the point in the government employing these people if we’re going to ignore it?
It is what he said. That isn't what he said.
What he said was that there is no clear death rate figure and he wasn't going to make one up but when it becomes more certain then the maths is simple.
Spain is obviously really struggling, Madrid being one of the areas to avoid, not like we've had any Madrid locals travel to this area of the country...
The WHO clearly has more data to go off, but the problem is, they know the amount of deaths, but they are completely plucking figures out of the sky on the level of infected.
We have 600 confirmed cases. 20 of them are managers or players in the PL. Four of them are MPs.
The genuine figure of those infected is clearly in the tens of thousands, so it’s impossible to say what the accurate mortality rate is.

Excellent post mate..
Knew guys who worked on thrash recycling plants, who got a nick on their hands/arms,a couple off days latter a kind off fungus/mushroom started growing out off the wound,
Then after 2/3 days knock out off their feet,in bed between 3-5 days,
Then fresh as a daisy,Never been sick ever since, their immune system gone through the roof..
That’s a complete lie and you don’t believe it for a second.Grow up.
You know no more than anyone on this board.
No.
That would be me.
They are being disingenuous about contamination mate,it’s something I know rather a lot about as I’m sure they do.I don’t think they are.
They explained the plan, they said why and they admitted many people will die.
The PL has because players and managers have it.

I’m reading what experts around the world are saying and have been from the start when half of the idiots were posting that it’s no worse than flu.
You however, know what the CMO is saying, ignoring that it’s in contrast to the rest of the world and saying “well he’s an expert so it must be right”.
Marvin, I wish you would stop bigging up China, aside from N.Korea it's probably the most tightly controlled society on the planet. Only the Chinese leaders know how the actions against the virus are progressing and they'll tell the rest of the world what suits them and no more. They do what they are advised to do. This is science-led. The question is is it good science or bad science. With every day that passes and more people die in Western countries, and China sits virus-free, it looks like bad science.
Yeah the immune system is an amazing thing, anyone under 60 without health conditions should not be worried in the slightest because whilst it might not be nice, they'll survive.
Chances are the vaccine when developed will contain a similar but weakened modified strain of the virus... That's how they stopped Ebola.
Obviously the major worry is for the people who aren't healthy or are above 60. That is why no-one should fear the virus but should do everything to stop themselves from spreading it.
I heard on the radio a scientist explain it as this, for most major viruses and conditions we develop an immunity.
For this one though no-one is immune and it's like starting afresh. When people become immune they aren't as infectious and that reduces the spread resulting in something like flu which can be dangerous doesn't affect that many people due to decreased infectivity.
