Half of lower league footy games are still on.
Maybe so, but it doesn't seem right to me. There are a few old boys who play as well so would rather stay away and be on the safe side

We landed in fuerteventura yesterday, now I've got the mrs in full on panic mode, trying to book a flight home, she told me if I dont go with her, then she will divorce me. What do I do? She is sat in the room panicking, I'm drinking San miguel by the pool waiting for advise from jet2.
You won’t want to hear this but from the outside looking in at that situation you need to tell her to calm the fuck down and start thinking more sensibly! Her saying she’d divorce you is quite frankly as irrational as it gets.We landed in fuerteventura yesterday, now I've got the mrs in full on panic mode, trying to book a flight home, she told me if I dont go with her, then she will divorce me. Good luck mate, a couple of things to hang on to though , The ACEi is just a theory at the moment and may have no truth in it. Hubei must have loads of children with congenital heart disease but no one under 9 has died and deaths even approaching this age group are very rare.Yep. Within 2 or 3 weeks anyone very old or with underlying issues will be left to die and someone who has a better chance of surviving will get the bed. An understandable if somewhat depressing policy. My son has a very serious congenital heart problem. We started isolating at the beginning of the week and will do so for as long as necessary to give him the best chance of survival at the point he does get it. We are in a fairly unique position to be able to do this. His mum and me both work from home 100% of the time anyway, we live rurally, we were in a financial position to start building up supplies when we saw this coming a couple of months ago and his mum is an ex teacher so can do some home educating. I didn't think it would move this quickly or that we would be isolating so early but we felt it was odds on that it was coming sooner or later. When we made the decision on Monday, I was massively doubting myself and felt like I was being an idiot and overreacting. Within about 24 hours, I was only worried that we might have been too late and we could already have it as a few cases were confirmed in the local community. It's moved scarily fast, it makes rational decision making tough. I do need to add. Obviously if we didn't have a son with those underlying issues then we wouldn't have taken such drastic measures although we would have taken some sensible/reasonable measures I'm sure. On a related note. My son is on a drug called Lisinopril which is an ACE inhibitor. There are now some compelling theories that ACE inhibitors might make a person more vulnerable to catching the virus in the first place and make the effects of the virus more acute. Genuinely frightening.
Ha sorry chicken poxYou most certainly didn’t have smallpox parties.
That's obviously photoshopped, there's not a single German towel on any sunbed.
I was having the same debate with myself yesterday. I ended up going and was pleased to see little tables with blue roll and sanitiser spray everywhere and every single person in there used it to wipe down what they had been using. Fair play to them. If it wasnt that clean I think I would have swerved it for a while. It is significantly quieter than usual there too, which is helpful in terms of cleanliness. Im the same as you, ive been 4 times a week to the gym for nearly 30yrs. Id go crazy if that wasnt possible I think. That said Im going for a pint today, and soon.
Same here, not sure what to do really. Mum is 74 and has some health issues. I'm not particularly worried about myself, but I do worry about her, don't want to stop visiting or anything.
Keeping away from the gym - too many shared sweaty handles and rebreathing large quantities of shared air in limited space. I'm sticking to running outside and my rowing machine at home.
I was at my gym yesterday; like a ghost town. I swim every day and have already bought a wetsuit so I can get my daily fix if needs be by swimming in open water, there are a couple of places in Manchester that do this. It's also getting lighter in the evening so will be out on the bike. So, so important to keep mentally fit. The only major change I've made is not to use the sauna at the gym, but, apart from that, I've been swimming as per normal. The chlorine kills everything! Keep up your running. Get outside to do it if you have to. I'm sure one or two of the club members would join you.
I rang my gym yesterday to see if they’re still open and they said “business as usual”.
That’s the one place I hope stays open, it’s not the best idea, probably stupid to go, but it’d be the only thing to break up my time with nowt else to do.
I get the 11 from Alty to Wythenshawe and back again in the evening Mon-Fri.I know I use the 219, 201/3, 205/6 every day and they are filthy.
I was sent working south manchester 3 years ago and had to get 2-3 buses to work, I was off sick for a while for the first time in 9 years and when my vboss asked I was convinced it was spending up to 2 hrs on buses home and the bacteria on them.
I got moved back nearer home amd haven't been off since.
Not trying to put you off because I genuinely don't know, but have public swimming pools been officially okayed due to the chlorine?...
Pool is a good shout...
I understand that there are arguments for and against 'lock-down'
Only time will tell which approach is/was actually correct in the long-term
Once China comes out of isolation will that not mean that there will be many millions of people having no immunity to the virus and then it will just surge again?
If that is not a risk then the lock-down strategy seems the correct one - if it is a risk then it isn't
According to some medical bod on the radio swimming is fine as chlorine is the dogs bollocks - not a verbatim quote tbh, but you get the jist. Not trying to put you off because I genuinely don't know, but have public swimming pools been officially okayed due to the chlorine?
Chlorine kills much worse things than COVID-19.According to some medical bod on the radio swimming is fine as chlorine is the dogs bollocks - not a verbatim quote tbh, but you get the jist.
It's a weekend mate. If you want to hang around a school taking pics and masturbating you'd be better off mid-week.I see Eton School is closed.
In every country in my opinion. The official figures are a load of bollocks too.
So what do you do at weekends instead? It's a weekend mate. If you want to hang around a school taking pics and masturbating you'd be better off mid-week.
