Combination of that and the antiviral drugs used on HIV patients is what's being reported. Hardly a tailored solution though.
Doesn't matter if it works until there is a vaccine

Seems like Aussieland is ahead of the research at the moment, they've identified the antibodies in the blood stream that are generated by the immune system in the recovery stages.Probably posted but some potential good news https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-Australian-researchers-CURE-coronavirus.html
If the best advice available was wrong the important thing is that it is corrected so it still remains the best. The UK aims to keep deaths to the absolute minimum by following its experts analysis in continued close collaboration with other countries - with whom we are full (and often the leading) partners in the worldwide research effort to defeat the pandemic. To suggest this has not been the case throughout is simply wrong, different timing of measures taken in different countries does not mean they are not sharing data or ignoring each others experience. We certainly need to avoid the dreadful current situation in Italy where ICU capacity is so overwhelmed that over 65s are being denied treatment in favour of those in the workforce.Alternatively the data fairies may have stolen the actual data to make fairy data castles on clouds leaving our poor lads to rely on theoretical data. I know it’s difficult to accept that our lads may have got it a bit wrong but all countries are making mistakes. We are all in the same boat so how about we leave our ‘British is best’ flags at home and pitch in with everyone else. For example we need to follow the lead of France, Germany, Nordic countries et al who are rolling out financial measures to support the economy. They have shown the way. We need to follow.
Not sure on that count. Antivirals can be rough in their own right. There's a reason medical testing is as strenuous as it is. Happy to follow the experts on it though.Doesn't matter if it works until there is a vaccine
Servants are always a problemMy wife works for the government all told to work from home last night
Servers cant cope this morning
What a mess
We'd run out of bullets fairly quickly trying to enforce that one.I know it is practically a nightmare, but.... If every one of the worlds citizens was told to stay inside for a month, and the government's gave permits only for certain people, medics, people who need hospital assistance, a the emergency services and people in all industries related to food supply. People who are losing work could be temporary deliverers of food supply, wouldn't all this be over before the end of April?

I think the Chinese had already discovered blood transfusions from recovered patients helped some cases but I'm guessing that identifying the particular antibodies will possibly help more in their recoveries.
Apart from Jefferson.Servants are always a problem

The best time for that solution was 2 months ago unfortunately.that's why we've got a nuclear deterrent.
Don't tell Trump FFS. He'll be waving his cheque book again, trying to buy exclusive rights to any Aussie vaccine.Seems like Aussieland is ahead of the research at the moment, they've identified the antibodies in the blood stream that are generated by the immune system in the recovery stages.

Bit confused as to who is in the at risk group for the 12 week isolation, anybody any idea?
Right im kind of in the im alright Jack boat whereas im pretty certain when the country goes into lockdown ill be receiving full pay from work but the thought of being cooped up indoors for a number of days absolutely terrifies me.
Is there any way of finding out if I could volunteer at 1 of the supermarkets that are going to still be open, or even within the NHS doing anything they need me too, obviously for no pay
A few of us with underlying health conditions were sent home by our employer this morning. Decisive action thank goodness. I just feel so sorry for those left to man the fort, but even more sorry for people losing their jobs. The hospitality industry, and self employed, need particular help at this time. Contingency measures should be introduced asap...the usual processes need to be dropped and emergency measures put in place.
