This is about saving the economy and workers now
Oh I know that mate, but we just seem to be coming out the other end of austerity now this, rationing stayed on for years afterward WW2 this will be our grandchildren’s problem unfortunately. I hope now we can change as a society and live within our means from now on.

I must admit, the government seem to be doing their bit, its now time we all pulled together/helped each other and showed proper common sense. The next 2/3 weeks could be crucial, lets make sure we can look at ourselves afterwards and do the right things, stay safe all.

Don't like the Tories and never have, but fair play to them they are backing the country in the time of need.

If they have handled this crisis well time will tell but from a financial viewpoint then credit to them for their stand.

I feel like I need a wash after writing that :)

Over 1000 deaths today confirmed with a lot of nations still to give their results. Having only passed 1000 yesterday it might pass 2000 today.

I have a lot of ties with Bergamo, in touch with friends out there every day.... God (i dont believe) help us if it gets as bad here.

Well I feel the least I can do is wash my hands again.

Seriously, this is the best time EVER to give up smoking. Get on the vape, or get some Niquitin-mini, or just go for it... for cold turkey, it's a week of cravings which improve after 48 hours, and are eased by your BP lowering, which will give you the oddest feeling (in between cravings) of being less anxious and wound up than in living memory.
to accept delivery
You'll possibly save your life,or possibly save the lives of others by minimising your risk of taking up an ICU bed.
and anybody who does give up im offering FREE OF CHARGE of course ,to accept delivery of your unused smoking paraphernalia, you can thank me later

This is wartime funding, will be loans that will be going on for a 100 years or so.
Long term gilts at next to nothing coupon mate.

This is absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be happier. If they’d done this in 2008, the recession would have lasted about two months. (Borrowing was a great deal more expensive then though)
