The thing is the advice yesterday is that you can get out so long as you stay away from people and getting fresh air walking the dog etc is good just keep your distance,it iskind of woolly advice

I had an offer just now from a poster on here who I imagine wants to remain nameless, to go shopping for my Mum at their own expense and in their own time off, and to drive quite a long way to drop it off at her house. If i have learnt one thing about this place in the last month it is many have an absolute heart of gold,they have way out numbered the few dickheads

Think they got it quite early and it escalated quickly don’t know why, maybe some gathering involving somebody bringing it back from somewhere, being an island if they hadn’t got it early maybe they like Orkney wouldn’t have any.

I know. And i know you and I have had our fair number of run-ins (apart from us agreeing about Sané - you fancying him and me thinking he's quite good at football). But this whole crisis really puts everything else into perspective doesn't it. We're all people at the end of the day and not many are actually evil. Most are quite the opposite.

An ever growing link to voluntary groups around the country to help out as needed for those in need/self isolating.
Check it out hopefully there's a group near to your parents that can help and save you need of trying to post them the milk :-)

So we find out in the national news within an hour that 1 hospital (surrounded by hospitals with spare beds) had a bed shortage for a couple of hours, but according to your super secret source, people are being denied ICU ans ventilators but no one is hearing it?

About as convincing as Karen's conspiracy theory.

Spain are in total lockdown. One person allowed in a supermarket or chemist. Then they have to wear gloves given to them at the door and stand two metres apart at the tills. They can walk a dog but only up to 50 metres from their property. No going for walks or outside except for these reasons. As most live in apartments they use communal bins. The police are pouncing on anyone caught using them outside the designated tines.

The thing is if idiots keep on all meeting up as normal and not isolating properly this will soon be our reality. I expect soon morons will start pub meet ups with carry outs and post it on social media so hastening a total lockdown

If it got there early doors and went undetected, you can see why the numbers would be big. The populace likely frequent the same small amount of places. Small pubs, small shops, small cafés...

Which is why I still can’t get my head around the Last Night Of The Lungs night out and parties that took place last night. “I know let’s all get her together and spread this like fuck”

Listen to what the drs on the front line are telling you,people they would normally be able to save won 't be because of the shortage in beds and equipement,i don't think you are understanding how stretched the nhs is in a normal winter,then add all of the virus patients on top,it is so naive to think that difficult decisions are not 10 fold now,i know yoy are a stats man but watch the progs on the bbc following,the ambulance service,many progs following different hospitals ,including the juggling of beds and patients in NORMAL times,i was part of it for 20yrs,i know what being part of a team is like and decisions that have to made,bed and staff shortages go back decades
You keep waving away what drs are telling the news channels and the dr on the web explaining it all,he is just a nurse you said,disrespectful

we have almost identical restrictions here, except that those between 18-65 can move freely until tonight or tomorrow when nobody could go out from 20h to 05h. sub-18 and over-65 are completely banned of going out of home.
