The idiocy (and selfishness) of panic buying

Sainsburys in Salford has been empty all week - but other supermarkets out from town a bit are fine from what I've seen 9 iyts a bit hit and miss to whats sold out). Try your local corner shops - its a game changer.

That's not saying that there arent thousands of selfish twats and the supermarkets could have stepped in from day 1 to limit purchases if they wanted to

The shelf strippers must be smelly bastards.
Although they grab stuff like bleach and disinfectant there seems to be a fair amount of personal hygiene stuff like tooth paste deodorants etc.
I wouldnt want to get within a few feet of them

I might be wrong but why do able bodied people need online orders that are booked out for 3 weeks or so, a family member of the young variety moaning about delivery wait and things unavailable made me think surely the NHS and the old would be better served with this service.
I understand that the modern way all online but these are exceptional times.
As posted earlier some are online and shopping, beggar's belief how this is going to end.

I've just got my usual delivery from Asda, no panic buying or anything.
As a goodwill gesture, I thought I'd load my SUV up with groceries and take them to people less fortunate than me. All of a sudden, one of my neighbours came over ranting and raving and threatening to report me. To cap it off, Asda have just rang me and called me a selfish twat and they won't be delivering to me anymore.
No more Mr nice guy from me I'm afraid.

So Asda took your order and delivered it but called you a selfish twat only when someone made a complaint?

Just went Tesco's for fuel.never seen out like it,
All parking bays full, the pricks have even parked on every road on the car park(both sides)its fking madness(fire away with the jokes)..

Just been to Sale water park to give my 91 year old mum a much-needed breath of fresh air. Whilst we were sitting on a bench a family of three came down with a full loaf of bread each which they proceeded to throw to the ducks.

Did they throw any paracetamol and bog roll at the ducks too?

Just tried the coop again, even less in now, stuff nobody buys has even gone. Pretty bad now this because the shop had not been open long. Loads of people going round the aisles semi aimlessly trying to think on the fly what to get. I appreciate there is no food shortage with people showing pics of full depots but the reality on the ground is different, near me at least, there is fuck all.

No point going to the big asda because i called them and they said they have sod all to. I just asked the lady about the bread milk and meat situation, answer was that there was none or at least so little by the time i got there; there would be nowt, only a few dregs were about.

I only wanted a couple of bits so no biggie for me but for the first time you could see stress etched on the faces of many shoppers. A lot less pleasantries than usual with folk focussed on the food shelves. They need to get this sorted quick if there is indeed loads to go around. Bulk panic buyers should be ashamed of their selfish "i'm alright jack" attitude. Something deeply upsetting seeing an old fella struggling to walk around with an almost empty basket just staring at the bread shelves with nowt on em.

Selfish set of shitbags, i hope bulk panic buyers choke to death on a bog roll.

No fucking way!

In the next village to me a tesco delivery van got robbed whilst out delivering...

"Just collected my Tesco shopping order and noticed my frozen products were missing. The driver told me because of how people were parking in the car park today, he couldn’t open his van doors properly so he was having to pull the trays of frozen food out and have the crates on the floor. He said people have stolen the products while he was passing the goods to the people who have bought them!"
