CV in prisons, particularly American prisons, will be a fucking disaster zone

It's quite possible I could fall into this band as well that has to isolate for 3 months, but how does that factor for people that work?
I'm the only one that works in our household, what happens if I get a letter? Do i just go in work this week and say "sorry, I'm not going to be in for 3 months!"

I'm entitled to company sick pay but they could argue that I'm not technically ill so why should they pay me sick pay. (They are bastards and will try anything to get out of it)

if you get a letter to isolate for 3 months there is nothing they can do about it,this is about keeping people well so they stay away from the hospitals

The problem the government faces with any lockdown is what to do with the people who break it. As others have said our culture differs from other countries and as we have seen over the weekend some people either don’t know how serious this is or just don’t give a shit. We can put the police and even the army on the streets but what powers will they have. A bit simplistic that mate. My father in law has late stage COPD and has been given not long. He also has Alzheimer's. His family have decided that it's best not to try to treat him if he takes another downturn. There's countless people in care homes in this predicament.

Now if "George" (made up name) gets a chest unfection, he won't be tested and it will see him off. And if the infection is Coronavirus, it will never be recorded.

But what does it matter if it was covid 19 or not? He might have had food poisoning or flu and he wouldn’t appear in those stats either. What I’ve been trying to get over is that the vast majority of the people who will die with this disease are going to be like ‘George’.
