I've just had a text from NHS saying to stay inside for 3 months. One in 1 in 1.5 million. Let things sink in and worry about it tomorrow. Anyone else had the text?
Yes, I had it this morning. Haven't had the letter yet though.

Don't believe that there are so many struggling to get it ( or is there political point scoring going on?) it's quite simple unless you are on the list stay in end of.
There aren't. Look at the essential worker list are you on it or not.

You could but he’s asking you not to do it. You could stay at home and invite loads of people round for a party if you wanted too. This is about personal responsibility, not about what they can police.
I don't think asking public to do or not to do something is right thing in these circumstances. These are times to issue an orders. Ii don't see how this changes anything from some of the photos we've seen over the weekend at Bournemouth and places like that. It can still be packed by "first time exercisers".
Not going to work is big thing, but he screwed it with this exercise thing a lot.

The governments first priority is to protect its citizens. He’s already done it too late so no one with half a brain cell can complain about this. It’s still far too lax imo.

I welcome the measures. However it sounds like fines will be very much a last resort and Police want to work wherever possible on a consent basis. Although admirable in principle, I do wonder if that will be sufficient.The fines will have to be severe to have any effect
