So is it the travel that has to be essential and not the work? So if u have a non essential job u dont go in?

I'm in telecommunications for a small private company which (I think) classes me as a key worker but that's quite vague too.

Firms that say that kind of thing should be named and shamed.
Also the owner should be blacklisted from NHS.
If he or she gets it suffer in silence alone.
Hopefully up a fucking tree
 
I hope these millions of kits BJ refers to are these rapid testing kits. Spain are distributing to health workers are care homes. That will make a massive difference. eing able to instantly take out of circulation people who have the virus would be massive.

I think the Americans have these too, and if they can get them rolled out that will stop the infection in its tracks. It will mean we have a rapid way of ending he chains of infection. Presumably anyone who gets it goes to their bedroom and stays there out of society and comes back when they are well, and meanwhile all their contacts get quickly checked.

The exercise bit I understand, it’ll grant them more time to have these measures implemented. If people can go out and walk they’ll be less climbing the walls and it’ll mean they’re more likely to obey the other measures.

It’s low risk if they just go walking and don’t touch anyone else.

The work bit is unclear and they need to be very specific, I agree.

If you work in a place with more than 2 people (unless its essential) you cannot "gather" anyway unless you can keep 2m apart at all times.
 
We get the odd jogger outside the house some days, you watch, tomorrow it'll be like the London and New York marathons are being run on the same day......in our street.
Everyone will turn in to Mo Farah overnight and probably off their tits on drugs like him too

20 kids in the park sat in pairs in a circle each pair approx 2m apart. Copper tells them to fuck off home, exercising mr plod we are having a rest you got a tape measure. If you can exercise and walking is an exercise then you can go out for as long as you want.
