When you say lockdown do you mean a proper lockdown or this near one we've got now? Because this one we've got will still spread it loads. Hundreds of thousands will be in close contact with colleagues and commuters every single day. Then take it home to their families.
Looks like Trump is going with option 1.I know Covid 19 may kill you but so can starvation, depression,poverty.....
You make a very good point there. Tomorrow will, in all likelihood, see the 1500th suicide of the year in the UK, well on the way to over 6500 by year end.I know Covid 19 may kill you but so can starvation, depression,poverty.....

Stats by local authority, taken as a snapshot at 2pm the previous day:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-track-coronavirus-cases
Published about 4:30pm each day along with the overall stats.
Greater London is in trouble according to the daily stats. After that, the current hotspots are: Hampshire, Birningham, Hertfordshire, Cumbria and Sheffield.
Interestingly the Wolverhampton/Dudley hotspot has faded away somewhat since Friday. Probably because the people effected tend to follow the rules (Doctors, Nurses, Charity Workers etc).
I to am a pensioner JTU and it annoys the fuck out of me when being the next in line to be served, only for an old biddy to take 10 minutes to put everything back into her fucking handbag !!At least there's some good news amidst this sea of chaos and desperation. Post offices are staying open so that pensioners can continue to enjoy their daily 20 minute banter at the window.
To be fair at least it`ll keep The Samaritans staff in a job.If thats the expected average I would expect that it will exceed that final figure this year very sadly.
