When you say lockdown do you mean a proper lockdown or this near one we've got now? Because this one we've got will still spread it loads. Hundreds of thousands will be in close contact with colleagues and commuters every single day. Then take it home to their families.

we are doing less than Spain or Italy yet some are now taking Johnsons "review in 3 weeks" waffle as a sign it will all be back to normal in late April.............just in time for us all to go to the beach I assume.

"Dear friends.. While we’ve all been in quarantine I’ve been reflecting on the things that matter the most in my life. Family, friends and of course music. I recorded a cover of Tommy James and the shondells “I think we’re alone now” in my bedroom. I figure if we have to spend this time in isolation at least we can be alone together. Love BJ"

I have been very much taking my ox on a bridge, sir butt how did you no? You ar obviusli very brite and I am pleesed that we maid such a gud choice.
My dear friend as I have said to may of your fellow countrymen who have also been very courteous when asking me to forward money :

and they can stay open and use common sense.

Yes, this applies to some of my customers, and we have to keep as much of the economy going while complying with the social distancing. I was just trying to show different meanings of essential and how there could be further restrictions in the future.

Stats by local authority, taken as a snapshot at 2pm the previous day:

Published about 4:30pm each day along with the overall stats.
Greater London is in trouble according to the daily stats. After that, the current hotspots are: Hampshire, Birningham, Hertfordshire, Cumbria and Sheffield.
Interestingly the Wolverhampton/Dudley hotspot has faded away somewhat since Friday. Probably because the people effected tend to follow the rules (Doctors, Nurses, Charity Workers etc).

So the good people of Wolverhampton aren’t such wanderers after all

At least there's some good news amidst this sea of chaos and desperation. Post offices are staying open so that pensioners can continue to enjoy their daily 20 minute banter at the window.
I to am a pensioner JTU and it annoys the fuck out of me when being the next in line to be served, only for an old biddy to take 10 minutes to put everything back into her fucking handbag !!

Good to see that the essential sports direct have vowed to stay open. All those zero hour contract workers forced into work or face being sacked to flog a batch of old treadmills as Ashley looks to capitalise on the desire for indoor exercise equipment whilst making out they’re doing it for the good of the country. Absolute scum.
