There’s not a lot that makes sense mate, all I can do is stay in and hope. It’s ridiculous times we are living through scary and the threat of dying or killing someone is constantly rammed down our throats. Never have I seen or heard the things like this before.Diabetics were second on the list 3 days ago bud, they are going down the charts faster than one bloody direction have. I'll give you an example of the stupidity here, my Son In Laws Dad is 71 healthy mind but his wife is 67 and a diabetic they clean a school. The headteacher sent 2 pregnant teachers home (Considering there hasn't been a known death of a pregnant woman infected with this bugger of a virus) because she felt it was dangerous for them to be exposed to the threat.
It makes not one jot of sense.
probably not been told because it's not been required - building sites remain open observing safe spacingI wish someone would tell this thick twat I work for
Could possibly be down to the site management asking for their assistance. My mates a plumber and the building site he's working on got shut down by the Police today, i thought construction was still allowed ?
That’s a rate of over 1 per thousand and, Incredibly, this country isn’t even in the top 50. Over 1 million people will die by suicide, worldwide, this year. And next. It’s like a virus, only nobody gives a toss about that one.If thats the expected average I would expect that it will exceed that final figure this year very sadly.
maybe because it's optional rather than compulsoryThat’s a rate of over 1 per thousand and, Incredibly, this country isn’t even in the top 50. Over 1 million people will die by suicide, worldwide, this year. And next. It’s like a virus, only nobody gives a toss about that one.
I did wonder. Then surely it's down to him and TFL to marshall passenger load in stations.Sadiq Khan
If you have to work on site, it is essential to leave the house.
Mental health is optional. You’ve spouted much bollocks on here, as have I, but that’s right up there with the most ridiculous posts I’ve ever read. Optional ffs.maybe because it's optional rather than compulsory
Gove said they’re to stay open. It appears the government are a tad confusing in the communication with the public and not for the first time.If by site you mean building site BJ said building sites are to close
Yeah, said this straight after the announcement. Nothing much changed. People still have to go to work and people will still fight with each other at supermarkets because the food delivery services are at breaking point. And the 1 exercise allowed per day rule is a joke. Exercise should have been restricted to the home/garden. You don’t need to ride a bike or go jogging to keep fit. Joe Wicks is doing amazing work (free of charge) to prove that. People will just whack their trainers on, so what they want and just start running when they are confronted. It’s no different to yesterday and they need to crack the whip ASAP.
Unless of course this is all part of the herd immunity plan. They got pelters for saying it was the plan initially (quite rightly), so perhaps they have now decided to keep it as a key part of the plan but disguise it a bit.
Me too... I am half expecting a text to say don't come before the appointmentPerhaps the dealer sells food and medicine as well as cars . Seriously I would of thought car dealers have to close.
I heard that bike shops are allowed to stay open... it's pretty clear that we need some clarity ;-)Does this mean the police have a list of which business can and can not be open ? I guess only shops that sell food and medicine can be open.

Or the last.Gove said they’re to stay open. It appears the government are a tad confusing in the communication with the public and not for the first time.
I assume so.
For example; construction is open today and unless they're building hospitals for this crisis then it just isn't essential at the moment (not to dismiss those in that sector as they are essential at different times).
