Whether there is a letter or not there's clearly collusion. The PL need to manage this but they are too weak. The background to this will no doubt be United having some VERY difficult conversations with their banks who will be very unhappy with United having no CL income again. United are now trying to bully their way into the CL to get the banks off of their backs.

When you say the PL should manage this - they ARE. PL power lies with those who wrote the letter. CAS need to use this to demonstrate their impartiality

The PL rarely display leadership unless the rags or dippers are involved . They are just the same as UEFA in that they want to protect the clubs who bringh them the most income, although without City coming along and being successful would the PL be that interesting ?

The twats who have authority in the PL are so short sighted if they were aware of this " letter " although they will certainly have the rags/dippers and those bitter twats Arsenal pecking away at them to frustrate City's progress.

It also says except Sheffield United and city

I said “in the report I read” which looked something like this:

“The entire Premier League top 10 - with the exception of Sheffield United - have submitted a joint application to the Court of Arbitration for Sport to stop Manchester City playing in Europe while their appeal against a two-year ban is ongoing.

[via @MikeKeegan_DM]”

The top 10 includes City “entire top 10” except the Blades and City becomes “5 of top 7” which doesn’t have such a snappy zing about it, nor does “8 of top 10”

Cheers

Of course all of this is about money, or rather the lack of it for the rags. They have huge debts & financial commitments that can only be serviced by large doses of income. If this falls quickly or even dries up they are in bigger trouble than seems obvious at the moment. Add to this their owners are failed business people without a pot to urinate in, as the rag income props up their stateside ventures.

As several have mentioned this is desperation for the rags. They have the real problem. The other seven clubs all have their own financial problems but are just in this for the ride on the basis of anything to come glad of it, short or long term.

oliver kay keeping the kangaroo court going
Was worried until realised that the Daily Mail reporter pened this, these twats have had it in for us since banning their chief sports reporter from the ground after unfounded allegations about the first FFP case, since then this shit hole of a paper has only ever reported negative things on the club ! Even Martin.Sammuels who.does a free lance column for them hinted at reporters looking to stitch us up over FFP !
