Why set up test labs for NHS staff when there are 5 minute tests available? Doesn't make sense.

Get them. If there's some patent compensate the company and produce them internationally.

Should be relatively straightforward to regularly test the entire hospital staff if you have these 5 minute tests. Get the new labs to areas with the highest clusters or some key populations.

The next door neighbours have just pulled their caravan out of storage, lord knows where they think they're going. They've been in and out since the lockdown and the wife has just seen them slip out of the front door when we all use the back door exclusively here. They both had peaked caps pulled down and got into a white van we've never seen before, leaving both of their cars parked up. They know they're doing wrong but just can't help themselves. Selfish sods.
Next door but one to me own two vans and a car, he has been out in all three today.

Serious question. Are you a born worrier as your demeanour seems to indicate that you are.You may well suffer from panic attacks and worry about the slightest thing but you`re doing yourself no favours with all this flapping.
Take a deep breath (as it my be your last ;) ) and .. r..e..l..a..x.
Now does that feel better than all the fretting ?
Shame the Olympics are off because Bluemoon could raise a world-beating team for the Dismal Desmond downhill event.

You know which posters I mean.

An observation from the Netherlands via DutchNews.nl:
https://www.dutchnews.nl/news/2020/...e-corona-patients-dominate-in-intensive-care/
"Diederik Gommers, chairman of the Dutch intensive care association, told television talk show Jinek on Friday evening that 66% to 80% of corona patients on intensive care wards that he had seen are overweight. The reason has not yet been investigated, but Gommers said it could be linked to the prevalence of diabetes among obese people, which would make them more vulnerable to the virus. In addition, the extra weight can also make breathing more difficult, he said. A specialist on the programme gave a similar picture. ‘Almost all the patients on an IC ward are overweight,’ Peter van der Voort of Groningen University’s teaching hospital said. ‘We don’t know why, but it is very noticeable."

Experts on sky, maybe can get it again and immunity might only last 3 months and you can still carry it if you have had it

Nobody really knows as nobody has had it before
11 have caught it again - 10 in China, 1 in Japan. They probably caught the other strain - yes there are two (L & S). Symptoms were very mild the second time around.

It's all unhelpful padding and speculation on their part.

It's a real bummer the way life pans out isn't it.

Wouldn't it be marvellous if one day something came along and the stats said it's a bizarre thing but most of the survivors are fat bastards who drink too much.

The age group has gone from the 80's at the start to into the 20's now,in the lastest figures the lowest was 33 and 13 people without underlying health problems died,in one day, please all you young uns stick to the rules
You, me and every top medic in the world has no way of ever knowing if anyone at the point of death has/had "underlying conditions". Simply impossible for any hospital to run checks on the gamut of possible "underlying causes". Chill.

i want that to change to you definately are immune and you can't get it again,i need to be able to go in and help my old neighbours, they are desperate for a hug but i can't risk it,it is frustrating
