I get the same uneasy feeling in this thread that I do in the UEFA FFP Ban thread.
It's hard to believe how somebody as incompetent as Trump, or maybe inadequate is a better word, could be in such a place of high governance. But the fact is he has the backing of the fat cats that are creaming it at the top, just as he himself is.
They are all reaping benefit with their manipulations and insider dealings and breaking it up by trying to do things right just isn't working.
American politics may be the pinnacle of corruption in big business circles, at least currently the most visible with that gobshite treating this national crisis, as his own electoral campaign vehicle every night. But It's not the only exposition of how big industry works, as we see from our own dealings with UEFA at the moment.
It's saddening to see how Western Democracy is going, not just in the US, the UK are adopting a lot of the same techniques. I'm sure other countries are well on the way to following suit regards communicating through twitter, soundbites, mis-information, fake news etc.
But really when a crisis such as this pandemic hits globally, it is frightening to see the wrong man for the job at the helm in America.
