Where did it go wrong for America? politics historically has always had moments where scandals or stupidity put an end to an administration or at least caused embarrassment. It pretty much daily with this man child moron. I mean in a week he could die on his arse over vietnam on a Monday, shag Monroe on a Tuesday, have a Cuban missile crisis on a Wednesday, suffer a watergate on a Thursday, have McCarthy trial on a Friday, have a girl drown on a Saturday and play golf on a Sunday while the country dies of a virus.

He still turns up on the following Monday fuck me what’s going on here. It’s like house of cards meet dumb and dumber and no one is hugely confident he is living on borrowed time, how low does this pillock have to sink before people actually turn on him?

He could shit on a blind orphan and still carry on.

Stop — please for the love of all that is holy, stop. You are trying to use reason, human decency, logic and convention to answer this question. Why do otherwise reasonable people fall into — and die for — cults? Because the cult fills the void they lack. Then the cult member becomes dependent on the cult for emotional fulfillment, and eventually for basic necessities. At that point, the cult leader and his minion can ask of and receive anything they want from the cult members. Which, of course, was the point of starting the cult.

You’re either in the cult, or not in the cult. There are a few who aren’t in the cult but support the leader anyhow. They are a very distinct minority.

Unfortunately a cult is a small group of people at odds with general thinking, momentum in the U.K. could be described as a cult, they infect a larger group but ultimately fail thorough lack of numbers. Too many people in America voted for this loon so cult isn’t the right phrase. I’m not sure what the phrase is for such a large number of people parking their decency and common sense is called though.

It’s called a cult, mate. There were/are plenty who voted for him who won’t the next time round. And plenty who didn’t vote against him who will the next time round (cuz they didn’t show up last time — underestimated Trump’s danger, assumed Clinton would win, etc). Those two groups aren’t cult members. Without those two groups the cult can’t win. Which is why the 2020 election is about blue turnout.

I hope you are correct.

Thread on how everything Kushner touches, turns to shite:

Kushner is typical of a lot of rich kid frat boys who inhabit the upper echelons of the US corporate world. He's a bit like a more modern version of Trump in that he doesn't appear to have ever had to worry about the consequences of anything he's ever done or does. This means that he has absolutely no regard for anyone outside of his 'circle', and to have someone like that in charge of government policy that effects millions of people is frankly downright dangerous.

I see he’s joking about wearing a mask, it’d be a shame if he got it.
Someone should tell him the best masks are made of cling film with the benefit to him that everyone can see his face and it would keep his hair in place. I’m sure there’d be no shortage of volunteers to help him put it on.

#45 makes an ambitious move. So, ignoring the obvious beginning edit, take in the main body of the video and think about the edit afterwards.

I think the Fat Blimp will roll this out in swing states too, leaving blue states last, if at all.

He will look like he's doing good thing to cover this virus period.

Particularly unhinged this evening.

Imagine being so stupid, so in denial, so stubborn and intransigent that you think Biden could be worse than this guy. Imagine not wanting to vote against this monstrous fuck the instant your ballot appeared in the mail. Imagine even having to think for an instant about the decision. Imagine thinking Biden was somehow the moral equivalent to Trump.

Trump has gone off-topic

The president has spent much of the briefing not addressing the coronavirus pandemic, instead defending his decision to fire a US intelligence general who was involved in triggering impeachment proceedings against him last year.

Mr Trump said the official, Michael Atkinson, had done a "terrible" job and was a "total disgrace

US 'must open again', says Trump

The president, who previously said he wanted to reopen parts of the US economy by Easter before deciding against it, has again insisted that the US must not allow itself to be crippled by the coronavirus for much longer.

He says the US "must open again", adding: "We don't want to be doing this for months and months

He still doesnt get it

At what point to the GOP say enough is enough?

People will die as a direct result of what Trump is saying here. The GOP are allowing Trump essentially free reign to do and say what he wants, and basically having to clean up after him every time he opens his mouth.

There must be a threshold that the GOP won't cross. I just don't know what that is.

They’re too far gone and too invested in him to do anything about it whatever happens. The best that can happen is that Trump, McConnell and a few others catch it and it finishes them off.
