Manchester City v QPR 2012 Full match on sky sports Sunday at 4pm.

Don’t mind saying that it brought back a lot of memories. My Dad grabbing me in the tightest bear hug and screaming “I fucking love you” as we celebrated. Shed a tear watching it again in full and am doing so again whilst typing.
you must treasure it. l lost my Dad when we were shit. bless him he hated the rags , GPC and Muen.in fairness we had our time together when King Colin and co was winning everything .neither you or i will never forget our Dad made us blues.

Like many others my first full rewatch since the stadium

Points.

Can we show that to our current full backs and get them watching the amount of proper forward runs zab and clichy make

The pitch looks massive without the extra front rows

The best tv moment is as we score, it cuts to Bobby and Platt legs it off somewhere.

I still have more of a bond with that team than I do with todays

Balo really worked his nuts off when he came on, tackling back and everything. He could have been the best

I'd forgotton we did it without yaya

How young did everyone look

Oh the memories!

I had forgot that Yaya had gone off before HT

I was still screaming yesterday at how shit Clichy's crosses were

One of Nasri's handful of decent games he had for us

I miss Edin……..

Lescott playing like Bambi on ice -(what a shocking header)

Fuck off Milner

Not sure that games a good example of how a City full back should play....apart from the Zaba goal of course!

Our crossing was absolutely woeful all game in open play and it’s not hard to get up and down the line when their entire team are behind the ball and have a total of about 3 attacks :)

I feel the same, that team achieved so much, they were the ones that battered the rags, bobby took on the pisscan, our first title, took us out of the rags shadow, whatever has happened since, starting a revolution is always the hardest bit

No video does the noice justice, but this is about as close as it gets. Turn up the volume and enjoy the noise over and over again.

look at bobby still working at the end and the usually perfectly presented khaldoon with his shirt hanging out looking at his watch and punching the air, have i mentioned i love him

The present day team plays totally different. Silva and Nasri played wide in that team and we used the full-backs to overlap to creat width. The current team plays with wide forwards and full backs that are often inverted to protect the pivot in midfield.

One of my biggest regrets is not heading down to where my parents were sat after the goal, stayed in and around my seat about 10 rows back - didn't see them until after the celebrations and all that, still haunts me!

I wonder how many people have owned up to leaving early that day after giving up hope in the dying minutes?

A few certainly did, ? a couple about 2 rows in front of us did just before Edin scored.

Possibly something you would regret forever.

Absolutely right mate.

Dad's not here now but on that fateful day, I swear before God, when Sergio scored my dad was leaping about like a good un. I promise you, for about 5 or 6 seconds in the immediate aftermath he looked like a young man again. No wrinkles, no knackered joints, no pain, just sheer, unfiltered ecstacy.

I don't care what does or doesn't happen in the future, for that few seconds I got to see my dad as a young man and it was, is, and always will be the greatest moment of my life for that reason.
