Yes, I was watching CNN too and noticed they didn't pull them up on it, I imagine they had enough domestic fact checking to worry about! It was blatantly setting a false narrative about us to justify their own failings. That will stick in some people's minds over there and it's just not right.

I’m slightly ashamed to say his performances (and the responses they generate) have become a late night guilty pleasure for me. He’s just beyond the pale isn’t he?

A couple of beers and a live stream make great entertainment. You can’t do it every night because 1)it’s the same bull-shit but just promoting different ‘great’ companies who are doing a tremendous job’ but more importantly 2) I have to remove myself from it out of fear that I may fall victim to what ever con he is trying to pull each night. I need to keep myself safe and sane!

I was watching some of the journalists faces when he was roasting them, and I am amazed none of them started laughing or shaking their heads etc. I guess they are all serious folk, and being in the presence of their leader generates a degree of genuflection and seriousness, but I would love it if one of them just laughed at him next time he does it!
