Me too. I am pretty sure the players will be back but I have no idea how long it will take society to determine the risk of us watching it at the ground. It will depend on dipping our toe in the water and then surveying the results and playing by ear I guess.

Reports that football clubs will be back in training once they get access to fast tests. If it was me I would be happy training with a group if I knew that group was being regularly tested. UK now has its own 90 mins test (Cambridge Uni) so I don't think it will be that long until football is back.

What about fans going to games? I was thinking ages but surely it's less risky than the tube or packed train travel? Pubs, and cruise liners are going to have a hard time in the future. Any other industries? Ferries? I don't think young people will stop going to clubs but maybe the govt will not approve licenses for pubs and clubs for quite some time?

Football clubs shouldn’t have access to tests while there’s still people in this country with symptoms who can’t get tested. Likewise, without that, there’s no way we should be allowing mass gatherings like a football match to take place until there’s a vaccine found or herd immunity reached. Playing behind doors doesn’t change the fact that at some point in the game there’s going to be about 20 people in close contact with each other on a corner kick or set-piece.

Should of gone to Costco. Cheese was buy one get one free. I panic bought a pack. I have to grate it myself so I’m not sure I’ve got such a bargain.
Don’t forget to wear a face mask and something to cover your eyes when going to places like supermarkets. Gives you a bit more protection against the numpties.

So you don't like the police. I work in custody. Please tell me how we are supposed to practise social distancing when you must search detainees, often strip search them, must fingerprint them and sometimes restrain very violent people? All from 2 metres away? Custody has no windows, no fresh air and no ability of working from home. Yet we are normal people under that uniform; people with families, vulnerable elderly relatives-nobody wants to catch the virus or pass it on, but some of us don't have the privilege to sit at home and criticise those that put themselves in harms way.

No I didn't say that - I can see how your work affects social distancing but what I am saying is they should be practising whilst milling around at the back - just one bobby has gone over to stand alone - near enough to help colleagues if needed but far enough away to be socially distance. Your job puts you at a risk but there is no need to increase that risk is there?

Sorry if already posted but just been reading that a 30+ year old woman died of a heart attack whilst at her mothers funeral.Absolutely shocking that and I`ve no idea as to how the family will cope.
