Not directly affecting us, but it's probably a good indication of how long (at least) it'll be until English football is back too.

BBC

At least they have provided a sensible date when it MIGHT get restarted. Compare that to our money grabbing whores who are so desperate for money they still refuse to rule out anything beyond the end of this month.

Think it will be longer before they could play they said they can’t train until 10th June, would think they would need at the very least 2 /3 weeks training before playing games.

The SPFL's contentious resolution to end the season in three divisions, and potentially the Premiership, is resting on just one Scottish Championship club that has yet to vote.

Looks like it’s ending. Not sure how It’s just waiting on one team to make their mind up.

I wouldn't be too sure, some strong accusations being levelled now at clubs being bullied into voting for the seasons end, this has a while to go yet.

Clubs being (financially) bullied into a certain outcome ? No chance of that happening here

Seems to be. From what I can gather, Rangers sent out a resolution proposal to pay out money in terms of current league positions to help keep clubs afloat, but with no leagues declared as of yet, to be assessed soon to give them a chance to be finished if possible.

The SPFL have knocked that back, saying their way of declaring leagues is the only way. Rangers have claimed that many clubs have said to them they feel forced to vote for it.

To make the vote go through, 10 clubs out of 12 from each of the leagues need to agree. In the Championship Partick & Inverness voted no, with 1 still to vote. That turned out to be Dundee. However, they apparently voted no, but the SPFL didn't receive it.

Now the ICT chairman has came out and basically said that clubs were pressurised into voting a certain way, that he had proof Dundee were voting no, & Rangers have came out & demanded an investigation in to the voting process because they have been given evidence of some wrongdoing.

I think they need 75-80% of teams from each league to vote yes in order to cancel. Perhaps they have the required number in 3/4 league and the 4th league is resting on this 1 vote. You can’t really cancel 1 league without cancelling them all as would mess up promotions and relegations.

Reading today it seems some teams thought the deadline was 5pm and a few thought it was 28 days. Dundee being named as the team they are waiting on. Now Rangers have issued a statement about a whistleblower.

Even more bizarre is the Conference North and South where only a select few can vote next week according to one article.

Dundee voted No to the proposal but it has somehow “went missing”. i.e it’s a stitch up and something stinks.

Hence why Rangers aren’t happy. The SPFL have tried to railroad this through and basically worded in their statement before the vote that clubs should vote for it as it is the only way - when it is not.

Rangers put forward proposals to pay the prize money at the moment as interest free loans, then top up the money depending on final positions if the league is resumed. That is entirely fair. We’re only in April, no need to rush to a decision whatsoever.

Rangers alluded that there is something going on behind the scenes. If you read their latest statement they’re basically accusing the SPFL of corruption.

There’s a photo of Dundee’s voting slip which is signed and dated by Dundee’s CEO. The SPFL lost the vote but are playing dirty.

Not sure they are any less money grabbing. They have set a deadline for the league restarting, if it doesn’t restart then the season will end with current standings applied. Reason being their focus is on starting next season on time as they have a new TV deal with SKY starting in August!!

Scottish football is bad enough with the players fully trained, watching 22 rusty SPL players partake is enough to kill the game off!...:)

Scottish football and those running it are an absolute disgrace.

They wonder why tempers run so high yet come out with shit like this?

Dundee vote to end season ... and BBC site pictures Dundee Utd. ,well they live on the same street so no problem
