How many times Sterling was on his B C Z games last season ? yet Pep kept starting him.

It will be Pep biggest mistake since joining City.

That’s a very good point, and at times last season we needed Leroy’s a impact from the bench and he’s be overlooked and didn’t get nearly enough starts. Yet he’s played sterling into the ground this season despite him being a shadow of his best.

We don’t know what’s going on but this could be a big mistake from Pep.

This could also be the start of Leroy becoming a journeyman like Anelka. Can’t deny he’s a seriously talented lad. But maybe attitude the only thing holding him back.

Everyone of us were hoping Leroy would come back this season with a different attitude but we were robbed of getting to see if he did or not after TAA butchered him in the charity shield.

I'm a massive Sane fan and it pissed me right off seeing him on the bench last season, I just can't accept that any manager would constantly leave him out.
I love Pep but felt really frustrated and I don't blame Sane for wanting out.
He is a superb young player but he will always play second fiddle to Sterling.

If it is any of the above reasons you have cited why has he not come out and said after all this time that City have offered him a new contract that he would prefer not to extend his career at City and seek pastures new, everybody could then accept this, look for a replacement and get on with the football project, yet he is saying nothing. If he wants to go home to Germany then that's great and good luck, but by saying nothing and leaving the club in limbo while he winds down his contract is not a good thing for the club or the fans.
It's also his prerogative. If I was him and having spent months in and out of the side I'd be thinking about leaving too. I love him, he's magical when he's on it but if he doesn't want to be here so be it, sure we'll be fine

He is unplayable when hes in the mood but far to often he goes missing in games and thats down to application.i like sane as a player but i think hes trying to leave on a free so cash in now and bring torres or costa in.

TAA didn't butcher him, it was a normal tough

I agree and I think he's not quite a right fit. You almost need to build a team around him and for us other players produce more. Sterling has been shit for months but still has another 20 goals season

Sell a natural left winger and buy a right winger, sounds like a well thought out plan does that sir.

You are Ed Woodward, I claim £5.

After the dust settles on all of this, I think a few players are going to get a shock if they think big wages are going to be on offer again any time soon, if this season and next season become a write off, there will be a hell of a lot less money in the game. Sponsors won’t be able to meet their promises etc everything has a knock in effect. Leroy may well look at this and decide to stay as out of any club in the world I think we could recover stronger than anyone, FFP will have to be binned in order for clubs to survive and I’m sure the Sheikh will help us out.

I agree with much of what you say.
I can't see how any clubs are going to be able to comply with FFP.
Shirt sales and general merchandise wont pay more than one or 2 players wages for the season at Real and the scum.
'The Swiss Ramble' estimated those two make around €19m from shirt sales. So with utd paying more than £50m to three players, that's a massive deficit.
Whilst Burnley, who proudly boast about making a profit, could lose a fortune.
Players at all clubs on current long term deals will be very relieved, but those with 12 months left might be revising their asking price.
Bayern may well get Sane on the cheap but they wont be signing Havertz and other targets unless they ignore FFP, which would be ironic!!!

F*** Leroy I don’t want him at our club if he is only staying for the money, it’s a mistake we have made far too much in the past

Goes on a free Sane will get a big wage 300k a week for 5 years is a layout of 75m bargain.

What a fucking stupid statement.

He might chose to stay because he's seen how the club have treated players and none playing staff better than other clubs. He might chose to stay because the club have been phoning vulnerable supporters and offering support. He might chose to stay because he now knows the club will do everything they can to help people in the worst possible scenarios.

On a personal level, I will never return to my current employer after furlough because they're a bunch of lying twats who put money above health, who put people at risk when things could have easily been conducted remotely and who have been proven to lie and manipulate figures to suit personal agendas. I think it's disgusting and will hand my notice in the day of expected return to join our biggest competitor, who have conducted themselves well even though it's a £5k drop in salary.
