Interesting photographs.

The hunting regs are very strict out here, all those wee uns can walk around completely protected 12 months a year...actuelly I think there maybe a youth hunt for a weekmor, two in the fall. Having said that, they get the Fish and Game rules same as we do, then they're nowhere to be seen
Alright you're off the hook (as it were). I am happy to accept your formal invite to enjoy the big blue skies and inevitable hunting disappointment that follows. Looking forward to it. Hands across the ocean. ;-)
It's probably better than living within 400 yds of the most polluted road in Scotland.

Margaret Bourke-White photographing in a position you would never see me in.
My feet are tensing just looking at it.

Then Annie Leibovitz paid homage:

I get a shiver looking at those images. Not just my terror of the situation but the beauty of the shots.

Tis a rough road out here, many flounder

Taken better on my phone

probably, but when printed at 6 foot by 12 foot the resolution on your iphone pic wouldn't do so well, this on the other hand is (apparently, cos I haven't seen it) crystal clear :)

Love Annie's work. Not aware of Parr and too late tonight to become acquainted but I shall explore on the morrow. Thankyou.

Martin Parr is nothing like AL in his work, I only mentioned him because he seems to evoke the same polar opposite responses

I can’t unsee that now!

When I first moved to the States, one of the things that used to throw me was that light switches are placed that bit lower on the wall than in the UK. I was always reaching for them as I came through a door and pawing the wall just above them. Now I’ve been here 20 years, I have the same issue in reverse when I go back to the UK.

Anyway, back to the picture; looks like Frank is relaxing in an Eames paired with a wonderful Frank Reenskaug Danish rocking chair. Good stuff.
Impressed with your knowledge of the furniture.
