Fast becoming a parody of himself.
Fast becoming a parody of himself.
Get well soon mate, don’t use your energy posting until you’re fit and well.I am struggling through a long episode related to my condition and a few other ongoing issues, unfortunately, and it was a task to type this, so I likely won’t be responding to replies — apologies in advance (except to Trump apologists, who can get ****ed at this point).
Trump, his cronies, and his “republican” enablers have done everything I and many others predicted they would; he, particularly, is on the path to fulfil many other predictions we have made earlier in this thread. And, for those not active in this discussion since 2015, none of our predictions were “good” for anyone, apart from Trump and the neofascist elements in American society.
And yet, somehow, he has acted more incompetently, more callously, more selfishly, more inhumanely, more insanely than all of us predicted. If it is even possible, he has become more vicious and erratic. But that often happens with a cornered rabid dog.
Anyone still defending him or his actions (or extreme, criminal, lack of action) at this point — especially after that truly Strangelovian performance last night — is, to borrow a phrase, a “total authority” on sycophancy and moral bankruptcy.
He is the embodiment of a pathogen at the heart of another deadly and invasive “pandemic”, one which magnifies and intensifies all others, including the current horrific COVID-19 crisis (which, ironically, many of those defending Trump also ignored or downplayed when it first began — many still are). This one has unfortunately been spreading across the world for decades, infecting millions, if not billions of vulnerable people.
It is the virus of glorified malicious ignorance. It is the insidious belief that one person’s opinion is just as valid as another’s expertise, especially if it cuts, entertains, and/or validates problematic feelings or beliefs. This pathogen’s aim is to dissolve reason, logic, truth, and evidence-based perception of reality so it can replicate.
Trump is only one of many major strains of the virus working to obliterate the systems previously developed to fight off such infections.
But, as the results in Wisconsin show, we still have some resistance left. And perhaps our collective response is actually strengthening as we get a clearer picture of the consequences of allowing the infection to grow and strengthen.
We can only hope that is the case, and do our part to fight it off, so the very real sacrifices so many are and will be making to mitigate the worst manifestations of this man-made virus are not in vein.

Fuck that syphilitic, feeble-minded, racist, misogynistic, homicidal psychopath and everything he and his cronies and allies stand for. I am done being polite. If you still defend him, his actions, his policies, and those of others enabling him or of those likeminded, you can fuck right off. At this point, after all that he and they have done (or not done), if you still support them, you are either just as morally and intellectually corrupt as they are or you are too stupid to know the difference.
And frankly, given everything is slowly becoming more difficult for me to do, I simply no longer have the surplus energy nor inclination to attempt to disabuse such people of their malicious beliefs or educate them past their ignorance. If the literal global death and destruction, made substantially worse by the various manifestations of “Trumpism” across the world, is not sufficient to change your views on reality, I am confident my rebukes will have as much impact as thoughts and prayers will on gun violence.
Until I rant again, I hope everyone — even those that can fuck right off — stay safe and well.
Not a rant really when you speak the truth. What a fucking world we live in with Trump as ‘leader of the free world’ and Johnson whose response to Covid has been as inept, our PM. I sincerely hope your condition eases mate. Take care and best wishes.I am struggling through a long episode related to my condition and a few other ongoing issues, unfortunately, and it was a task to type this, so I likely won’t be responding to replies — apologies in advance (except to Trump apologists, who can get ****ed at this point).

Nothing to add other than to say it's good seeing you post again. Stay safeI am struggling......
So many elements of his personality indicate a use of stimulants of some kind. I named a few the other day. Incapability to focus on what he is trying to say. Rambling. Temper tantrums. Narcissim. Fixating on enemies and perceived slights. Paranoia. Revelling in perceived successes. Reflected glory. Bragging. Inconsistency in mood and message. Contradicting himself.
Stay safe and get healthy , the Trump fanboys have gone very quiet recently.I am struggling through a long episode related to my condition and a few other ongoing issues, unfortunately, and it was a task to type this, so I likely won’t be responding to replies — apologies in advance (except to Trump apologists, who can get ****ed at this point).

That he displays those characteristics or that those are the characteristics of a habitual user of gear?I think that is somewhat far fetched.

It's significant, not just because he's endorsing him, but because Biden and Bernie have set up 6 joint working groups on major policies where Bernie staffers will get absorbed into Biden's campaign and shape his policies.
That's going to have a massive impact on the "Bernie Bro's" feeling like getting behind Biden.
Get well soon. Not really.
I know many long term drug users who are exactly like that.
Really? This constant pathetic sleight on 'Bernie Bros' is tiring, after all there's no such thing as a 'Bernie Bro'.
You would expect that Trump would be suing Noel Castler for what he claims in this tweet, but he hasn't even verbally disputed the claims, let alone threatened legal action. If this ever ended up in court, the evidence discovery would be devastating.I have to say, the hatred for the man on here has me somewhat perplexed. It’s quite a significant over reaction.
Please don’t misunderstand me, I think he is the worst president. Ever. We will never see this level of ineptitude in our lives again.
However, I’m not going to allow that point of view cloud my judgement, and to level/assume that he must be abusing as a consequence of this.
Whilst I acknowledge his behaviours may share some traits with this idea, it absolutely doesn’t mean that is why it is happening.
