I have just read the germany study, they have tried it on 1,000 patients,it is still in a trial,if they had a reliable test we would be buying it ,anyone buying in antibody tests and saying they are reliable or can tell you if you have enough antibodies to stop you from getting re-infected needs shooting,it is way too soon into this new covid 19 infection to be sure about anything
I accept they had a test if you say they did but please tell them they need to keep to the rules the same as the rest of us until such time as we and the WHO confirm a test that has ben trialled and passed as accurate

They are still sticking to the rules as they have throughout. The test was accurate in giving positive results for 3 that had symptoms and had been in close contact prior to having them. Agreed that they can't be certain but the test is there and is being advertised by professional medical practices so can't be a total sham.

It hasn't actually stopped people in some cases, a couple in our block have another couple round staying the night, watched them turn up earlier swap their cars round, and then disappear in together with plenty of alcohol, its a one bed flat too.
It’s heart warming to know swinging isn’t suffering, now where did I put my car keys ;-)

Really? Cant see that at all. If they say that we'll be able to visit people we will back at square one within two weeks.

Another question is would anyone even feel comfortable visiting anyone in a few weeks? If I felt like I'd passed something on to my dad and anything happened to him I'd not be able to live with myself.

I do think the advice about visiting people in the high risk bracket will be different. My Mum is in this category and wouldn't have me round even I tried!

Once they relax the lockdown I don't see why they wouldn't allow this, surely a handful of people meeting at their house for a meal or a few drinks is less risky than even going to the shops.

but in South Korea where they have it under control and are doing so well restaurants and bars have been open throughout

mad isn’t it
I've no idea about S Korea, but I suspect the staff in restaurants there are damn site more interested in cleanliness than in our pubs and restaurants, even in the best, cleaning a table always seem a chore.

On another note, I wonder if the US will get to 1m cases, before the world gets to 3m cases ?

There is not reliable test yet and there are plenty of places that are to fleece people

Think pubs and restaurants are different. Expect restaurants to open first , bookings only tables 2 m apart maybe max table size of 4 -6.

They are also saying can give this, shame they are not keeping up with research on deaths in covid patients in trials in different countries whilst showing no good effects, this is a sham

Treatment
There is some evidence for the use of the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine in cases of coronavirus. The benefits are not entirely clear, there are some risks and this use is unlicensed. However, we are happy to discuss treatment options with you if the need arises and in some cases we may be able to recommend it.

It’s a joke if pubs open before there’s a readily available vaccine. This country would be out en masse again and kill tens of thousands more.

don’t worry there will be flights still coming in to the country every day Unchecked you won’t need to worry about pubs

piers Morgan shouting about Cheltenham 70,000 a day

meanwhile 2million people using the London Underground everyday at the same time

and you are worried about 30 people in a pub

It's not or ever been about which is 'more or less risky'. Going to the shops for food is a necessity, as is excercise.

Popping round your mates for a meal, is not.... really not hard to grasp?
