You know what I'd love to see as an away shirt; plain white. No silly shoulder flashes or Paisley pattern. Picture something like this, with a white neck and cuffs, and without the pattern in the fabric. Not all white though (perish the fucking thought!). Sky blue (or black) shorts and, as a tribute to our past, sky blue socks with a maroon turnover.

When Umbro were doing our kits in the Sparky/Bescarfed one era, they reckoned that red and black was not a great seller, which probably comes as a surprise to some.

Why is it that almost anyone on the internet can design kits way better in concepts than the actual so called designers and the kit manufacturers ... their job would be much simple to just browse twitter every spring and pick up some ready made designs for next summer ...

Thanks for this - it looks so much nicer without the sponsor logo to me - just ordered one with the discount. For reference on the Puma site (https://eu.puma.com/uk/en/home) go to the bottom right of the page where it says "Email Sign Up".

I think Umbro and Kappa have been our best kit makers so far. Certain strips by Nike and Puma have been ridiculous. The current orange and lemon effort may as been made be Swizzels sweets. It's eye hurtingly hideous IMO, especially when worn by a FOC with a belly like they're hiding a wok beneath tight Refreshers wrapper!

And I'd like to see maroon trim in future home kits please Puma.

Umbro were good Nike and Puma have both been a let down. Quite liked the hacienda kit just for how unusual it was, wish we could get Adidas for the originals range the new badge would look class on an old Skool Adidas tracky top!
